God brought me from the hills of North Carolina. I faced many challenges. I was a farm girl. I plowed in the fields, picked cotton, worked in the tobacco fields, had to take my mother’s place as a housewife, cleaning, washing, ironing and cooking as a child after she became ill. I had to get outside work to help with the family finances. I had to drop out of school at age fourteen to help with the family income.
After many other problems, God called me to minister to His people. I graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School, later attended a business school in Elizabeth, NJ, then I studied religious education at Manhattan Bible Institute in New York City, and graduated from the School of Evangelism.
I took several correspondence courses from Moody Bible Institute, and further studies were done at the Institute of Pastoral Counseling at the Emerge Ministries in Akron, Ohio. I attended many workshops and seminars on drug addiction and alcoholism and with the In Service Training Institute in Anderson, Indiana. I received my missionary license in New Jersey and was ordained by the United Holy Church of American and the Church of God of Anderson, Indiana.
No matter what your status in life is, God can elevate you to become one of His best messengers of all times.

$11.00In 1973 David and Gwen Bibber Kimball faced a vocational crossroads. As David concluded his ministry in Minnesota, he knew in his heart he was ready for a different assignment, but the nature of that new role had not yet been revealed.
One night he opened his Bible, seemingly at random, to Hebrews 11; at the other end of the house, his wife, Gwen, opened her Bible to Genesis 12. Separately both read the story of Abraham, who folded his tent and started his journey of faith into the desert.

He spent thirty-five years as an advertising account executive and copy writer, the last portion of that time in his own one-man agency. Over a forty year period he taught Bible to Sunday School classes ranging in age from three years old to what he calls “65 to Glory.” He began singing in his church choir as a freshman in college and considered studying for the music ministry. He became a Combat Infantryman on his 19th birthday as a Telephone Lineman. In the Philippines he did electrical work. In Alaska he worked as the Power Plant operator, Electrician, and Fire Chief. Then, later, the Armed Forces Radio Station Operator.
Back in the States he became a Camera Repairman, which he taught, then a Motion Picture Photographer, which he taught, then a Motion Picture Sound Recording Technician, which he taught. He then went to the Army War College as a Sound Recording Technician.
From there he was sent to the Engineer Officers Candidate School where he graduated as a 2nd Lieutenant Engineer Officer. Ted then went to Korea and then to the Brooklyn Army Terminal in New York where he served as the Assistant Plant Engineer. Ted then took his family to Germany where he served three years. His youngest daughter was born in Stuttgart, Germany. Upon his return he went through the Engineer Equipment Repair School. He was the Maintenance Officer for the 937th Engineer Group, Combat. Then he served as the Adjutant to the Deputy Post Commander at Fort Campbell, Ky. Ted then retired after 20 years service including 2 wars and 5 times overseas.
After retirement, Ted then owned and operated a Hearing Aid business for 20 years. Ted was Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.
Ted was active in Gideons International for over 30 years. Ted was an active Church Speaker raising funds to purchase the bibles for distribution around the world.
Ted should have been killed many times. This book is designed to show the love and protection God has for His Children.

No matter the intensity of the struggle, each character discovers powerful victory in this life’s journey or transitions into ultimate victory-into the King’s eternal presence.
Oh, to catch a glimpse of Him-for now and forever!
