It has been over twenty years since we finished writing Maxillofacial Orthopedics. Most of the patients illustrated were in my private practice. It has been a pleasure to see them grow into adults with wide, full smiles. Over the years, I have received many calls from clinicians asking where they might obtain the text. Since the last printing, many new ideas, techniques, and materials have been developed for improving orthodontic care.
