Bible With And Without Jesus Participant Guide (Student/Study Guide)
$17.99Scholars show how Jews and Christians read the same texts differently.
This participant guide introduces the main text and further Scripture commentary and reflection questions. It, along with the leader guide and DVD, is everything needed for an engaging study for your small group.
In this Bible study based on their book, The Bible With and Without Jesus, esteemed Bible scholars and teachers Amy-Jill Levine and Marc Zvi Brettler take readers on a guided tour of the most popular Hebrew Bible passages quoted in the New Testament to show what the texts meant in their original contexts and then how Jews and Christians, over time, understood those same texts. Passages include the creation of the world, the role of Adam and Eve, the Suffering Servant of Isaiah, the book of Jonah, and Psalm 22, whose words, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me,” Jesus quotes as he dies on the cross.
Comparing various interpretations – historical, literary, and theological – of each ancient text, Levine and Brettler offer deeper understandings of the original narratives and their many afterlives. They show how the text speaks to different generations under changed circumstances, illuminating the Bible’s ongoing significance. By understanding the depth and variety by which these passages have been, and can be, understood, The Bible With and Without Jesus does more than enhance our religious understandings; it helps us to see the Bible as a source of inspiration for any and all readers.

Saving Truth Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/Study Guide)
$24.99How Christians can guard their own minds against the lies that surround us and defend truth and clarity to a world that rejects both.
By accurately describing the Culture of Confusion, the rise of the “post-truth” mindset, and how it has affected our society, author Abdu Murray will awaken you and your group to the plight we find ourselves in and challenge Christians to steer away from contributing to such a culture by instead finding hope in the clarity that Christ offers.
In this eight-session, video-based study (DVD/streaming video sold separately) is designed to take you deeper into the topic of meaning and clarity through personal reflection and Scripture engagement and will:
*Help you understand the post-truth mindset and how it infects and affects us all.
*Equip you with facts and knowledge about the various areas of life where we are steeped in a post-truth mindset and losing our bearings as a culture, specifically: our freedom, our humanity, our sexuality, faith and science, and religious pluralism.
*Explain how the message of Jesus can answer our deepest questions, and how the actions of Jesus can bring truth and clarity to a post-truth culture desperately in need of objective, biblical truth.
Increasingly, Western culture embraces confusion as a virtue and decries certainty as a sin. Those who are confused about morality are progressive pioneers. Those who are confused about spirituality are praised as tolerant. And those who express certainty about any of these issues are seen as bigoted, oppressive, or intolerant.
For individuals or groups who feel like they’re enmeshed in the culture of confusion, the Saving Truth Study Guide sheds light on the way to see through the fog that surrounds us–by seeing Jesus and his message as the fixed point of reference that we so desperately need.
This study guide has everything you need for a full personal or group experience.
*The study guide itself–with thoughtful introductions, questions for personal reflection and application, and discussion questions for leading a group or team.
*An individual access code to stream all video sessions online. (You don’t need to buy a DVD!)
Sessions and video run times:
1 – The Blossoming of the Culture of Confusion (19 min)
2 – Confusion and the Church: Seductions of a Post-Truth Mindset (22 min)

Wine In The Word Bible Study Guide Plus Streaming Video
$21.99Why should you watch a video Bible study about wine in the Bible? What role might wine have in the life of a Christian, or even in the life of the church? As Christians, aren’t we committed to truly spiritual things, building up the body of Christ and seeing the Kingdom of God coming down to earth? Surely wine doesn’t have anything to do with that. Doesn’t the apostle Paul even remind us that the kingdom of God is not about eating and drinking but about spiritual things such as righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17)?
Does it surprise you that Jesus’ first miracle was turning water into wine? He miracled forth such an abundance of really high-end, high quality wine at a Jewish peasant wedding feast that the sommelier at the party was astounded. Did you know that Jesus drank four cups of wine when he celebrated the Passover meal with his disciples? He was known to hang out with the rough-and-ready of society, enjoying wine with saints and sinners alike. He surely did not fit into the spiritual vision of his own people and offended the religious status quo seemingly wherever he went.
Do you feel uncomfortable with the idea that wine is a spiritual gift? Perhaps you feel slightly sinful for indulging in a glass of wine or overly afraid that wine might be the devil’s tool of temptation. And we’ve all seen the abuses that can happen with alcohol. But, whatever your own personal background might be, these beautiful and mysterious worlds of wine and the Christian faith should have never been severed from one another. They belong together ever since Noah planted his first vineyard close to Mount Ararat. Though Noah was also the first person in the Bible to get drunk, his vocation as a vintner set the stage for wine to become the most talked about food in the Bible.
In this six-session video Bible study, scholar and author Gisela H. Kreglinger and pastor and author Randy Frazee will help you discover how wine and the Christian life fit together. They will help you learn about how we can reclaim wine as a gift from God. They will introduce you to wine as a spiritual gift. God gave the overflowing cup of wine to bless us, to bring us joy, and to help us draw near to him. This Bible study will inspire you to experience more fully one of God’s earthly gifts and help you to commune more deeply with the Creator of all good things.

Final Days : A Lenten Journey Through The Gospels
$17.99This Lent ponder the themes of justice, poverty, freedom, and love. The four New Testament Gospels aren’t the same story, but they offer the same Resurrection hope. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John devote most of their story detailing Jesus’ last week in Jerusalem, all highlighting Jesus’ triumphant entry into the city, the suffering and humiliation of the cross, and the empty tomb come Sunday morning, but the stories they tell aren’t quite the same. Each Gospel offers a different lens through which we understand Jesus’ Passion. One portrait reveals Jesus to be in control, while another emphasizes his suffering. In one story Jesus offers hope to the thief on the cross, and in another Jesus only receives derision. These different perspectives aren’t a reason to dismiss the Gospels; rather the reveal an abundant, diverse, and complementary picture of God’s work in the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Other components for the study include a leader guide, and teaching video are available.

I Want To Trust You But I Dont Bible Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/S
$24.99Trust is the oxygen of all human relationships. But it’s also what trips you up after you’ve been burned. Maybe a friend constantly lets you down. A leader or organization you respect turns out to be different than they portray themselves to be. A spouse cheats on you. A family member betrays you. You’re exhausted by other people’s choices and starting to question your own discernment. And you’re wondering, If God let this happen, can he even be trusted?
How can you live well and step into the future when you keep stumbling over trust issues? Lysa TerKeurst says it’s not simply about finding better people to walk with. It’s about developing the stability you long for within yourself and with God, so you don’t become cynical and carry a broken belief system into every new relationship.
In I Want to Trust You, but I Don’t Bible Study, Lysa digs into the Scriptures and helps you apply how to:
*identify which of the eleven relational red flags are stirring up distrust, so you can pinpoint why you’re feeling uneasy;

*recognize when a fractured relationship can be repaired by considering a reasonable list of characteristics necessary for rebuilding trust; and

What Happens Next Bible Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/Study Guide)
$21.99What comes to mind when you think about the end times? If you are like many Christians, you might not think about it much at all. You have a carpe diem kind of faith that focuses on the here and now. Why occupy your thoughts with the “not yet” when you have enough to deal with in the “right now”? The answer is simple: because Jesus focused on the end times. A full thirty percent of his teachings in the Gospels have to do with discourses on heaven, hell, and the events that will signal the final age. So, if Jesus made the end times a priority, it only makes sense that his followers would make it a priority as well.
Perhaps one of the reasons why you don’t like to think about the end times is because you know it will involve turmoil and strife. Indeed, Jesus said the final days would be marked by events that include economic turmoil, political conflicts, ethnic tensions, persecution of Christians, famines, wars and rumors of wars, diseases, false prophets, waning faith in Jesus, and other fearful sights. Jesus declared, “All these are the beginning of birth pains” (Matthew 24:9). Labor pains increase in frequency and intensity as the delivery draws near. Jesus was speaking of a day in which the same will happen in the world.
Now, when it comes to considering these events that will signal the end of the age, you have a choice as to how you will respond. You can see these circumstances through the eyes of fear or faith. The eyes of fear see little reason for hope and ample reason for anxiety. However, the eyes of faith see history inching closer and closer to a new era that will usher in a heavenly destiny–a time when you will “reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize” (Philippians 3:14 nlt). God has told you what to expect not to scare you but to prepare you. He is like a pilot on the intercom telling the passengers about impending turbulence. A good pilot keeps his travelers informed. Your good Father does the same!
God wants you to have a deep-seated confidence that he is firmly on his throne and the future is in his hands. He has given prophecy to empower his saints with the reassurance that whatever happens in this life, he is ultimately sovereign.

$33.31Kingdom Politics Bible Study Book with Video Access includes printed content for six sessions, personal study between group sessions, applicable Scripture, “How to Use This Study,” a leader guide, and tips for leading a group.
Many Christians love to talk about politics, but the current conversation is often full of contentious words that divide our churches and families.
In this Bible study, Dr. Tony Evans takes a step back to find foundational Bible principles for integrating politics into our daily lives. He challenges readers to incorporate all of Scripture when addressing divisive issues, forcing us to look at political issues we may have neglected.
When we see government holistically from God’s point of view, we can learn to speak with grace when we disagree with family and friends. We can maintain our political affiliations without causing divisions in our church. And with those who don’t share our opinions, we can still share the compassion and love of Jesus Christ.

God Of The Other Side Bible Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/Study Guid

In this six-session video Bible study, Kathie Lee Gifford and Joanne Moody reveal how Jesus broke through social barriers and reached those on the “other side” whom society had abandoned. Through the stories of the Demoniac, Samaritan Woman, Prodigal Son, four friends of the paralyzed man, and Cornelius and Peter, you will discover the incredible lengths to which God will go to reach those who are lonely, lost, and left behind. You will be challenged to follow Jesus’ example and daily go to the other side for those who need his love.

Questions Jesus Asked
$18.99Why are you terrified? What do you live for? Who do you say that I am?
Jesus was fond of asking questions, many of which cut right to the heart of what it means to be human. Why are you terrified? What do you live for? Who do you say that I am? In Questions Jesus Asked, author Magrey deVega explores six of the most provocative questions Jesus posed to others and guides us in answering them for ourselves.
Asking these questions takes courage. Not only do they reveal what Jesus really cares about, they open a window into our hearts. We all have questions for God, but growth happens when we turn things around and ask what Jesus wants to know about us. When we dare to raise them, these questions bring us a fuller appreciation for the wisdom, power, and presence of God in our lives. Are you willing to step out in faith? Are you ready to answer the questions Jesus asked?

Luke Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/Study Guide)
$24.99Lisa says, What I’m drawn to most in Luke’s account of the gospel is its humanity, the consistent theme that the Living Hope of Jesus Christ is for everyone-Jews and Greeks, men and women, rich and poor. There’s no one who exists beyond the compassionate reach of our Messiah.
Luke’s gospel account is a literary masterpiece, but it doesn’t celebrate the elite. Instead, it’s like the biblical version of Shakespeare whose main characters are paperback kind of people like lepers, prostitutes, and tax collectors who were absolutely stunned by the compassion Jesus extended toward them despite their cultural status as outcasts. This book proves that the pretense of perfection is overrated and certainly isn’t a prerequisite for a relationship with God. All twenty-four chapters present real people in real need of a real Savior. And while not everyone will be saved, Luke reminds us that anyone can be saved!
In this eight-session video Bible study, Bible teacher Lisa Harper exposes the utter humanity and compassion of Jesus shared by Luke, defined consistently and overtly in the original Greek, splagnitzomai, otherwise known as gut-level compassion. Dive deep into the well of perhaps the most common-man exposition of what a gift Jesus is in this new Beautiful Word Series study. This study guide has everything you need for a full Bible study experience, including:

Awe Of God Bible Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/Study Guide)
$21.99What if you were told of a hidden virtue that is the key to all of life? It unlocks the purpose of your existence and attracts the presence, protection, and providence of your Creator. It is the root of all noble character, the foundation of all happiness, and provides the needed adjustments to all inharmonious circumstances you may face. To firmly embrace this virtue will lengthen your life, procure you good health, ensure success and safety, eliminate lack, and guarantee a noble legacy.
If presented with these statements, most would sneer and say no such virtue exists. Yet every promise above was written by one of the wisest men to ever live. Even more astounding, he wrote these words under the inspiration of our Creator. However, prior to his departure from this life, he fell from the bliss he scribed. He became wise in his own eyes and deemed it no longer necessary to heed the wisdom of this virtue. He lost his way and eventually fell to the depths of a bitter cynic. Life became meaningless to him.
The good news is that this man’s story doesn’t end in the depths of despondency. He eventually returned to life’s most important virtue. We don’t know how many months or even years he spent writing his dismal book, but his final chapter gives a glimpse into his recovery. He begins by writing seven times in one form or another, “Remember your Creator,” with his final words being: “Here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind” (Ecclesiastes 12:13 NIV).
King Solomon, the author of these words, didn’t fully realize the value of godly fear, even though he taught it under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit! Prior to his fall, godly fear wasn’t his treasure, or his delight; it wasn’t an immovable foundation for his motives and actions. It was only after stumbling, experiencing folly, and finally recovering that he more fully grasped the magnitude of its power.
In The Awe of God, bestselling author and pastor John Bevere reveals how embracing godly fear empowers us to remain under submission to God’s truth and, in so doing, keeps us on the path of life. He explores more than forty distinct promises in Scripture that are given to those who embrace this virtue–rewards such as holiness, wisdom, eternal legacy, confidence, fearlessness, happiness, and security. And he shows how learning to approach God in this entirely new way–through holy fear–allows us to discover a deeper relationship wi

Gideon Bible Study Book With Video Access
$41.65When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or the fleece he laid out under the evening sky. But Gideon’s story is so much bigger than that-bigger than any one man and his mark on Israel’s history. Like everything else in the Bible, this is a story about God and His people. His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of their weakness-even through their weakness. And because God’s people includes you and me, Gideon’s story is also about us-our lives, our doubts, our struggles, and our possibilities as believers. From a state of fear, weakness, and insecurity, Gideon emerged as Israel’s hero, filled with God’s presence and His passion for deliverance. This 7-session study by Priscilla Shirer will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. In what ways do you feel insufficient? Those places create the greatest opportunity to experience the sufficiency of God. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength.

Parenting Study Guide Plus Streaming Video (Student/Study Guide)
$21.99For parents there exists a question that is always hovering in the background. Are we doing it right? Then just when we feel like we may be doing it right in one season, the season changes. They outgrow their shoes and their beds and we wonder at times if maybe they’re outgrowing us. Eventually hormones flip the script. The question that hovered in the background for the first eleven or twelve years is suddenly front and center. We no longer have the luxury of wondering if we’re doing it right. There are daily reminders that more than likely we’re not. Eventually our kids assure us we’re doing it wrong because their best friend’s parents are doing it right. And, of course, their best friends are assuring their parents they’re doing it wrong as well.
So, are you doing it right?
It’s a terrifying question. It’s terrifying because while we all come equipped with a rearview mirror, we don’t have a reverse. We can look back and see what we should have done differently, but we can’t back up and do it differently. Our mistakes are a permanent part of our parenting stories. Worse, our mistakes are a permanent part of our children’s childhoods!
In this six-session video study, Andy and Sandra Stanley will actually suggest an it… the it they’re convinced makes all the difference. Because if you don’t hit pause long enough to consider the direction in which you are parenting, you may wake up one day to the realization that you parented in the wrong direction. By wrong I mean, you parented in a direction you would not have chosen to parent had you stopped long enough to choose. The direction we choose, consciously or unconsciously, will in some way determine our children’s destinations–emotionally, relationally, spiritually, as well as academically and professionally. You owe it to them to choose it ahead of time.
Parenting is complicated. You want to get it right. To do what you have to do to determine your it. And that’s what this video study is about.

Ruth Bible Study Book Updated Edition With Video Access
$36.65Most of us like a good rags-to-riches story, especially one that includes a bit of intrigue and a moving tale of love. We can easily get lost in a narrative where, at the beginning of the story, heartache reigned, but it was soon replaced by joy. Perhaps we’re drawn to these tales because they not only provide an escape, but hope.
Many of us struggle through seasons of bitterness, tears, and loss, wondering if there could ever be a happy ending to our stories. The story of Ruth affirms that yes, there is hope. However, it’s not found in a happy ending scribed by a novelist’s pen, but in the power and protection of a sovereign God who never takes His eyes off of us for even a moment.
In this 7-session study from Kelly Minter, we’ll examine Ruth’s journey of unbearable loss, redeeming love, and divine legacy. We’ll see how God proves Himself faithful as the One who rescues, revives, and restores. First released in 2009, this study is now updated with fresh content and new teaching videos from Kelly.

Where have all the disciples gone?
There is a missing force in Christianity today. Its absence has led to weak believers, disintegrating families, ineffective churches, and a decaying culture. Without it we lack what we need to fully live as heaven’s representatives on earth.
That missing force is discipleship. The result is powerless Christians attending powerless churches, having a powerless presence in the world. The power, authority, abundance, victory, and impact God has promised will come about only when we understand and align ourselves with His definition of discipleship.

$20.99Kingdom Man Bible Study Book with Video Access guides men through the group sessions, personal study segments, and daily devotionals. Also, each Book contains unique codes that enable you to access free teaching videos for each session.
This study is designed to empower men to exercise the God-given dominion they were created for by giving them a Kingdom understanding, vision, and perspective on their identity and responsibilities along with practical steps on how to become a man who rules his world well.
Our culture has redefined manhood by emasculating men through a repositioning of the role. Men are portrayed as weak, self-serving, and unfocused. The Bible clearly communicates that man was created to exercise dominion over the various areas of his life, taking responsibility for himself and others entrusted to his care. When a man functions within the principles of biblical manhood, those around him benefit from his leadership and care.
This men’s Bible study is designed to empower men to exercise the God-given dominion they were created for by giving them a Kingdom understanding, vision, and perspective on their identity and responsibilities, along with practical steps on how to become a man who rules his world well.

From Beginning To Forever Bible Study Book With Video Access
$36.65Many Christians today are daunted by the Bible, seeing the size and scope of Scripture as intimidating and overwhelming. The result is often a fragmented understanding of parts of the Bible, which leads us to view it through the lens of our individual stories, primarily looking for different verses or passages to help us live our everyday lives. But, in our search for personal truth, we fail to see how the entirety of Scripture works together to show a bigger story-God’s work to redeem and restore the entire world.
In From Beginning to Forever, Elizabeth Woodson guides you through the story of the Bible, showing how all 66 books combine to form one unified narrative. Weaving together the rich theological truths found in Genesis through Revelation, this 8-session study shows the eternal significance of what God is doing in the world and how he invites us to be a part of it.

Forgiveness is a major part of the Christian faith. But how do we actually put it into practice when we’re the ones who’ve been hurt? We know God commands us to forgive each other. But, apart from simply saying the words, I forgive you, many of us have unasked questions about it:
*How does it work? On our minds, souls, circumstances–what’s actually happening when we forgive?
*Why is it so important, and what’s the difference between forgiveness and simply moving on?
*When should I forgive, and are their exceptions?
*How can I find healing for myself, even if my act of forgiveness doesn’t seem to change the person who hurt me?
These are just some of the questions that bestselling author and teacher Lysa TerKeurst explores in this six-session video Bible study (video streaming included) that will walk with you on a step-by-step process–through biblical answers, deep empathy, and the therapeutic insight that comes from Lysa’s personal experiences–toward the grace of forgiveness and the freedom from the pain of past wrongs.

As he notes, the hard truth is that most of us live our lives consumed by worries and fears about things over which we have no control. We struggle to know how we should interact with family or friends. We fret about our finances and our faith. We question our college major and career choice. Add to this that we’re following a God we can’t see, for a lifetime we can’t measure, to a heaven we can’t comprehend, because of grace we didn’t earn.
We’re all trying to figure it out as we go. This leaves more offramps than onramps, more chances for confusion than certainty and more ambiguity than clarity. All of this vagueness plays right into the hands of darkness. The enemy doesn’t seek to destroy us with an obvious all-out assault. No, he wants to distract us, keep us locked up in worries, and prevent us from experiencing those things that will give us true joy in life.
This is the goal of this study–to provide a roadmap to defeat discouragement and regain joy in life by becoming captivated by something better. Joy will provide practical steps to help participants make that journey.

End Of The Age Study Guide (Student/Study Guide)
$18.99There seems to be a particular urgency in the prophetic doom-saying of our modern world . . . a greater sense of somberness. Perhaps this is because end-of-the-world scenarios have gone from Hollywood fodder to real life. Rather than feeling farfetched, the end of the world now seems almost a given for most people. A matter of when rather than if.
In The End of the Age, New York Times bestselling author and pastor John Hagee uses Scripture as a guide to count down the prophetic events that must occur before that moment when every person must face God on Judgment Day. The pages of God’s Word offer a window into the end of history–what Scripture calls the end of the age (Matthew 13:49).
The goal of this study is to look through that window together–not necessarily to make specific predictions about people and places, but to gain wisdom and perspective from the Author of history. In the process, we will see what God has in store for the future so that we can remain ready, speak boldly, and live faithfully to the end.

3:16 Study Guide Plus Streaming Video Updated Edition (Student/Study Guide)
$19.99This study guide includes:
*Individual access to 5 streaming video sessions
*Discussion and reflection questions with video notes
*Personal study for between sessions
*Leader’s GuideIn this updated classic, bestselling author and pastor Max Lucado unpacks the meaning behind John 3:16, one of the best-known and most-beloved passages in the Bible. This simple verse came out of an unusual conversation that Jesus had under the cover of night with a Pharisee named Nicodemus. From the start, Nicodemus made it clear he inhabited a land of good efforts, sincere gestures, and hard work. Give God your best, his philosophy said, and God does the rest. Jesus’ response? Your best won’t do. Your works don’t work. Unless you are born again, you can’t even see what God is doing.
Born again. The word born, by definition, implies a passive act. The enwombed child contributes nothing to the delivery. Postpartum celebrations applaud the work of the mother who does the delivery. And the Greek term that Jesus used for again implies that the one who did the work the first time will repeat it. In other words, the original Creator will re-create his creation! Born: God exerts the effort. Again: God restores the beauty. We don’t try again. We need, not the muscle of self, but a miracle of God.
The thought bewildered Nicodemus. “How can this be?” he asked. Jesus answered by leading him to the Hope diamond of the Bible: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” A twenty-six-word parade of hope: beginning with God, ending with life, and urging us to do the same. A verse brief enough to write on a napkin or memorize in a moment . . . yet solid enough to weather 2,000 years of storms and questions. As this study will reveal, the heart of the human problem is the heart of the human. And God’s treatment for the human heart is prescribed in John 3:16: “He loves. He gave. We believe. We live.”

1. The Most Famous Conversation in the Bible
2. Hope for the Hard Heart
3. The Heart He Offers

Person Of Interest Investigators Guide (Student/Study Guide)
$14.99Imagine investigating a murder in which there was no crime scene, no physical evidence, and no victim’s body. How would you identify a person of interest in such a case?
Designed to be used alongside Person of Interest and the Person of Interest Video Study, this study guide will teach you the same investigative strategies used by detective J. Warner Wallace to examine the claims of history.
Dateline featured cold-case detective and bestselling author, J. Warner Wallace, has investigated a number of these “no body missing person” cases and has successfully identified and convicted the killers, even without the victim’s body or evidence from the crime scene.
Can the historicity of Jesus be investigated in the same way? Can the truth about Jesus be uncovered even without a body or a crime scene? In Person of Interest, Wallace describes his own personal investigative journey from atheism to Christianity, as he employs a unique investigative strategy to confirm the historicity and deity of Jesus–without relying on the New Testament manuscripts.
Imagine a scenario in which every New Testament document has been destroyed, Wallace carefully sifts through the evidence from history alone to reconstruct the identity of Jesus as the world’s most important person of interest.
Person of Interest will:
*Invite readers into the life of a cold-case detective as he uncovers the truth about Jesus, using the same approach he also employs to solve a real murder case*Teach readers how to become good detectives, using an innovative and unique “‘fuse’ and ‘fallout'” investigative strategy they can also use to examine other claims of history
*Help readers to explore common objections to Christianity
Concrete, compelling, and unique in its approach, Person of Interest will strengthen the faith of believers, while engaging those who are skeptical and distrusting of the New Testament.

Difficult Words Of Jesus
$18.99Jesus provided his disciples teachings for how to follow Torah, God’s word; he told them parables to help them discern questions of ethics and of human nature; he offered them beatitudes for comfort and encouragement. But sometimes Jesus spoke words that followers then and now have found difficult. He instructs disciples to hate members of their own families (Luke 14:26), to act as if they were slaves (Matthew 20:27), and to sell their belongings and give to the poor (Luke 18:22). He restricts his mission (Matthew 10:6); he speaks of damnation (Matthew 8:12); he calls Jews the devil’s children (John 8:44).
In The Difficult Words of Jesus, Amy-Jill Levine shows how these difficult teachings would have sounded to the people who first heard them, how have they been understood over time, and how we might interpret them in the context of the Gospel of love and reconciliation.
Additional components for a six-week study include a DVD featuring Dr. Levine and a comprehensive Leader Guide.

Wild At Heart Field Guide Revised Edition (Revised)
$19.99In Wild at Heart, bestselling author John Eldredge thrust a generation of men, young and old, toward a journey to recover true masculinity?the soul of a man as God designed him. He reminded men they needed adventure in their lives-in their work, in their love, and their spiritual lives-and showed how God designed them to be dangerous. Sadly, most men today have abandoned these dreams and desires-aided by a Christianity that feels like nothing more than pressure to be a “nice guy.” It is no wonder that many men avoid church, and those who go are often passive and bored to death.
The Wild at Heart Field Manual, which corresponds chapter-by-chapter with the book, helps men understand how God wants to heal these deep wounds from earlier years that take away their confidence and, in some case, their masculinity. Men will discover that deep within their heart is a longing for a battle to fight, an adventure to live, and a beauty to rescue-because that is how God created them. It is time for the church to reclaim these wounded warriors. It is time to give men permission to be what God designed them to be-dangerous, passionate, alive, and free!
Packed with new information and insights, the Wild at Heart Field Manual guides men along “the road less traveled.” Filled with probing questions, creative exercises, and space to record personal field notes, this companion volume is designed to transition men from reading about the wild heart to living from it.
