In Hebrew tradition, it is an allegory about the love of God for the Hebrew people, or “Jehovahas Wife” While both interpretations can be considered accurate, there is a third and mostly overlooked interpretation, and that is that it is a poetic representation of the earthly life, ministry, crucifixion, death burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, & His continued ministry to the church, through the Holy Spirit from Heaven.
