Worship As It Is In Heaven (Reprinted)
$21.17According to the Psalms, God is enthroned on the praises of His people–and it is from that throne that He governs the heavens and the earth. If this picture of God’s rule, found throughout the Scriptures, is accurate, shouldn’t the Body of Christ seek to praise the King of heaven and earth in ways that release His kingdom government into specific circumstances? John A. Dickson and Chuck D. Pierce, coauthors of Worship As It Is in Heaven, offer the church a fresh look at heaven’s pattern of worship, instituted in David’s tabernacle and renewed through Jesus’ apostles in the earliest days of the church. This “apostolic worship” is God’s chosen way of establishing His will on earth; through worship, the forces of darkness are pushed back and righteousness prevails. In Worship As It Is in Heaven, readers are invited to enter in to a fullness of worship that the world has too rarely seen: worship that is the conduit of God’s government of peace, justice, and holiness on the earth.

Uncle Sams Plantation
$19.99America has two economic systems: capitalism for the rich and socialism for the poor.
This double-minded approach seems to keep the poor enslaved to poverty while the rich get richer. Let’s face it, despite its $400 billion price tag, welfare isn’t working. The solution, asserts Star Parker, is a faith-based, not state-sponsored, plan.
In Uncle Sam’s Plantation, she offers five simple yet profound steps that will allow the nation’s poor to go from entitlement and slavery to empowerment and freedom. Parker shares her own amazing journey up from the lower rungs of the economic system and addresses the importance of extending the free market system to this neglected group of people. Emphasizing personal initiative, faith, and responsibility, she walks readers toward releasing the hold poverty has over their lives.

Infinite Playlists : How To Have Conversations Not Conflict With Your Kids
$7.70With the easy availability and abundance of downloadable music and MP3 players, almost every teenager knows exactly how to find their favorite bands and songs online. Recent studies show that more than 50 percent of teens own their own iPod and even more search for music on iTunes. A world of influence is at their fingertips, so how and when should Christian parents monitor the music their children are listening to without creating undue conflict and argument? For author Todd Stocker, the day his son asked his preference between Van Halen and Def Leppard was the day he realized he and his son needed to have the “music talk.” Infinite Playlists is a handy guide to healthy conversation between parents and kids. Writing as both father and music-lover, Stocker calls parents to recognize music as a gift from God so they can help their kids determine the emotional, physical, and spiritual influences of their song choices. He offers a balanced look at the difference between Christian and secular music, and gives practical guidelines parents and kids can follow to choose appropriate music-together. Competing titles may try to convince parents to hate or reject secular music or, alternately, convince them that Christian music is the only way to go. Infinite Playlists does neither, seeking first to provide parents with an understanding of God’s purpose for music, then to provide biblical and respectful guidelines to aid responsible music choices. Ultimately, the goal is healthy conversation-not conflict-between parents and children so everyone can see and appreciate what music can teach us about life, about God, about others, about relationships, and about the world.

Jesus Te Llama – (Spanish)
$11.99Jesus te llama is a devotional filled with uniquely inspired treasures from heaven for every day of the year.
After many years of writing in her prayer journal, missionary Sarah Young decided to “listen” to God with pen in hand, writing down whatever she believed he was saying to her. It was awkward at first, but gradually her journaling changed from monologue to dialogue. She knew her writings were not inspired as Scripture is, but journaling helped her grow closer to God. Others were blessed as she shared her writings, until people all over the world were using her messages. They are written from Jesus’ point of view, thus the title Jesus te llama. It is Sarah’s fervent prayer that our Savior may bless readers with his presence and his peace in ever deeper measure.
Lies Sex And Politicians
$30.00Many Christians write off the Old Testament as an outdated rule book which has little to say to them and has been superseded by the New Testament and the Christian tradition.Lies, Sex and Politicians is for those thinking Christians who want to ‘recapture’ the Old Testament from those who, in wanting to promote it in a particular way (e.g. in the homosexuality debate), have closed it off to the majority.John Holdsworth offers a way into the Old Testament through linking some of the themes found in this very diverse collection of texts with themes found in contemporary culture. This in turn enables readers to engage with the Old Testament as a resource for doing Christian theology and ethics today. Each chapter concentrates on a text-based theme. This leads to exegetical input and discussion of the wider theme in the light of contemporary scholarship. The text is then approached from the direction of some element of contemporary culture or concern. A final suggested exercise aims to bring these elements together in a cr

Its Not My Fault
$18.99What seems like just a common, no-harm-done excuse-“It’s not my fault!”-is often a dangerous trap, say Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend, because people don’t recognize what the blaming mindset does to them. It not only keeps them from overcoming the effects of all that they can’t control-like other people, circumstances and genetics-but separates them from a solution. And when they give away the ownership of their life, they end up losing the one opportunity they have to fulfill their dreams and enjoy God’s best. Using eight principles, a variety of true stories and their years of experience as professional psychologists, Cloud and Townsend enlighten readers on how to make empowering choices-and how to build the life they want to live. It may seem impossible but it’s true: taking personal responsibility is not only liberating, it is the best-and perhaps the only-way for a person to get what they really want out of life.

When A Child Prays Miracles Happen
$15.61Bonnie J. Heath began her walk with the Lord as a child, when she faithfully prayed to God and attended church services. Since then, she has been inspired by God in many ways, especially in her work with children. As a teenager and young adult, she helped introduce many children to Christ. She continues to work with the youth through her church, Whites Chapel United Methodist Church in Conyers, Georgia, and other organizations. Bonnie has been a speaker for youth conferences, Girl Scout troops, Sunday school classes, women’s organizations, school and church sponsored youth events, and other organizations, all because of her love for and devotion to children.
God inspired Bonnie to write this book while she was reflecting upon fond memories of her childhood, in Americus, Georgia, and how God answered her childhood prayers. Jesus Was A Capitalist
$19.98In the Ancient Scrolls of His written teachings, Jesus taught very clearly in simple words:
The obligation of all people to have great wealth for the good of all.
How to have great wealth no matter how poor, or small you start.
That it is so easy for the very rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
That it is very spiritual to have great wealth for the right purposes.
That the statement”you can not serve God and money”, actually means to have more money, not less.
That the very rich should generate much more and how.
He told the Apostles and the disciples to keep their wealth, but not take it in their purses, for they were worthy of pay where they ministered.
Also, many wealthy women traveled with Jesus and financed His ministry. One of these wealthy women of great influence was the wife of rich Herod’s business manager. (LK 8:1-3).
These ancient scrolls are labeled Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They originally, accurately recorded all the wealth – Dominion – teachings of Jesus for the benefit of all persons. Over 2,000 years later these scrolls still teach the same simple truths of easy success for all.
These scrolls are now in the Book called the Bible. Here they are for you in this book on the scrolls-to-gold-teachings-of-Jesus, the Master Teacher of true capitalism, etc.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

Evangelicals : What They Believe Where They Are And Their Politics
$20.00An overview of the global evangelical movement, including its historical roots, doctrinal distinctives, current strength, influence on politics and society, and teaching about the future. In the changing political, social, and religious landscape of the West, the term evangelical is increasingly losing meaning and credibility. Although some people say there is no unity to what evangelicals believe, church historian Christopher Catherwood sets out to prove otherwise, stating, “We are a people defined by our beliefs, and that is what distinguishes us in our twenty-first century postmodern times.” Catherwood delivers a succinct and organized review of the global evangelical movement, looking at its earliest days, current place in world Christianity, political and social influence, unifying theological doctrinal beliefs, and its view on eschatology. Using the doctrinal basis of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students and the 1974 Lausanne Covenant, Catherwood summarizes evangelical beliefs before describing the scope of the global church and the shift of evangelicalism’s center from the global North and West to the South and East. Catherwood demonstrates that the term evangelical is not only meaningful, but necessary. Anyone wanting to know about the past, present, and future of evangelicalism will find this book helpful.

Matrix Of Christian Ethics
$33.99In today’s world, many Christians don’t know how to live ethically, let alone know what ethics is. Christian ethics probes our deepest sensibilities as humans and how we seek the good for others as well as for ourselves as followers of Christ. This book begins to delve into this relevant and contemporary subject through methodological reflection on the commands, purposes, values, and virtues of Christian life in today’s context.
To address these factors, an integrative approach to ethics is proposed, borrowing from classical ethical models such as consequential ethics, principle ethics, virtue ethics, and value ethics. This is what the authors call a matrix of Christian ethics. This matrix will be played out in a variety of ways throughout the book, from the discussion of the postmodern situation of ethics and values to current proposals for the ongoing development of Christian ethics today. It concludes with some practically oriented guidelines to help the reader consider contemporary ethical questions and conflicts within a framework of biblical wisdom, in view of the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of followers of Christ.

How are Christians to understand and undertake the discipline of psychology? This question has been of keen interest (and sometimes concern) to Christians because of the importance we place on a correct understanding of human nature. Psychology can sometimes seem disconnected from, if not antithetical to, Christian perspectives on life. How are we to understand our Christian beliefs about persons in relation to secular psychological beliefs? This book presents four models for understanding the relationship between psychology and Christianity. David Powlison (Westminster Theological Seminary) offers the biblical counseling model. The levels-of-explanation model is advanced by David G. Myers (Hope College), while Stanton L. Jones (Wheaton College) introduces the integration model. The Christian psychology model is put forth by Robert C. Roberts (Baylor University). Each of the contributors responds to the other essayists, noting points of agreement as well as problems they see. This second edition includes an entirely new chapter by Stanton L. Jones presenting the integration model, along with new responses from the other contributors. It also includes a revised introduction by Eric L. Johnson, describing the history of Christians and psychology, as well as a conclusion that considers what might unite the four views and how a reader might evaluate the relative strengths and weaknesses of each view. Psychology and Christianity: Four Views has become a standard introductory textbook for students and professors of Christian psychology. This revision promises to keep it so.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

Trinity And An Entangled World
$33.99Twentieth-century science discovered that the physical world is profoundly relational – that, thanks to the phenomenon of quantum entanglement, there is a holistic connectivity at the deepest level of physical reality. This new way of comprehending the universe – which brings to mind the mystery at the heart of Trinitarian theology – has inspired thirteen distinguished scholars from physics and theology to explore the role of relationality in both science and religion.
Besides containing insights from both expert scientists and theologians, The Trinity and an Entangled World considers the way in which these parallel insights can contribute to a harmonious dialogue between science and religion.

Paradox Of Disability
$24.99The village of Trosly-Breuil in northern France is home to one of the world’s thirty-four L’Arche communities, where people with and without intellectual disabilities live and work together. In 2007 an impressive assortment of social scientists and theologians gathered there to offer responses to a question posed by the worldwide community’s cofounder, Jean Vanier: “What have people with disabilities taught me?” Their answers are here presented in a diverse collection of essays.
Editor Hans Reinders emphasizes that these analyses and reflections – like the L’Arche communities that inspired them – are not meant to set apart those with disabilities. Rather, they encourage people of all abilities humbly to acknowledge that to be human is to live with brokenness and limitation – and that to experience true community we must first learn to receive other people as God’s gift.

Beyond Pentecostalism : Crisis Of Global Christianity And The Renewal Of Th
$35.99At the beginning of the twenty-first century, Christianity faces one of its greatest opportunities as well as one of its greatest challenges – the formulation of a global theology. In Beyond Pentecostalism Wolfgang Vondey argues that Pentecostal thought and praxis represent an indispensable catalyst for the realization of this task.
Accentuating Pentecostalism as a manifestation of what he calls the crisis of global Christianity, Vondey describes the elements of this crisis – manifested chiefly in theology’s turn toward a performance-oriented enterprise – and suggests that the task of overcoming the crisis demands an integration of Pentecostalism in the global theological agenda. This task will inevitably push Christianity beyond the boundaries of the classical Pentecostal tradition. In fact, Vondey suggests, Pentecostalism itself is in the process of going beyond its own historical, theological, sociocultural, and institutional boundaries.
Informing Vondey’s study throughout is the provocative metaphor of theology with Pentecostal resources as closer to “play” than to “performance.” He therefore engages the social sciences, psychology, philosophy, and ritual and cultural studies as major dialogue partners in developing the theological task for both the Pentecostal and the broader ecumenical global community. Vondey’s goal is not a “pentecostalization” of Christianity but rather a renewal of the theological landscape in light of the significance of Pentecostal voices, thoughts, and practices worldwide.

Baker offers readers a safe space to contemplate tough issues as we rethink our traditional views of hell. Story Of Christianity 1
$46.65THE STORY OF CHRISTIANITY, VOLUME 1, is an informative, interesting, and consistently readable narrative history. It brings alive the people, dramatic events, and ideas that shaped the first fifteen centuries of the church’s life and thought–including major events outside of Europe, such as the Spanish and Portuguese conquest of the New World. Historian Justo Gonzalez shows how various social, political, and economic movements affected Christianity’s internal growth.
Gonzalez skillfully weaves in relevant details from the lives of prominent figures from the apostles to John Wycliffe, tracing out core theological issues and developments as reflected in the lives and stuggles of leading thinkers within the various traditions of the church. “The history of the church, while showing all the characteristics of human history, is much more than the history of an institution or movement,” Gonzalez stresses. “It is a history of the deeds of the spirit in and through the men and women who have gone before in the faith.” THE STORY OF CHRISTIANITY demonstrates at each point what new challenges and opportunities faced the church, and how Christians struggled with the various options open to them, thereby shaping the future direction of the church.
THE STORY OF CHRISTIANITY will serve as a fascinating introduction to the panoramic history of Christianity for students and teachers of church history, for pastors, and for general readers.

How To Walk In Christ
$47.48Sin cannot be gotten rid of by sinfulness.
Unrighteousness cannot sprout forth righteousness.
An unjust condition cannot bring about justification.
From an unsanctified condition, sanctification can never grow.
From unholiness, holiness cannot possibly be brought into reality.
And an incapacitated moral nature can never bring about a proper moral condition.
Trying within our own strength, ability, and capacities to bring about what God desires for us, is like trying to get flood waters to dry up by throwing buckets of water on them. It could also be compared to trying to put out a fire with a flame thrower, or even like trying to paint a wall white, by using black paint.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

Aunt Maes China
$26.23Why would a young woman give up a nursing career, a marriage proposal, and her family to head for South China, thousands of miles from home, where few had gone before?
In the middle of World War I, when the United States Navy was heading to the Mediterranean to offer support to England and France, Beatrice Mae Tonkin was boarding a boat to take her in the opposite direction across the Pacific to the Kwangsi (Guangxi) province where she would spend most of the next twenty-seven years and where her life would be filled with dangerous adventures as she pioneered answering God’s call.
Hated by the Chinese who thought she and her colleagues were masquerading as foreign imperialists, these so called “foreign devils” risked life and limb for the Master, while Mao and the Chinese Communist Party, a few provinces away, were preparing for their clever takeover of China.
As Aunt Mae’s life story unravels, you learn it is juxtaposed with extraordinary encounters of danger and hardships between the years of 1917-1944, when China went through the reign of river pirates, corrupt warlords, dangerous philosophies, rogue armies, Japanese bombings, effects of WWII, the vicious actions of the CCP, and epidemics, but she remained undaunted in her task of carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and continued planting the seeds of Christianity until she was forced to leave.

Gods Wisdom For Marriage And The Home
$44.98Through wisdom is an house builded; And by understanding it is established. Proverbs 24:3
Brethren, how important is it for us to know, understand, and follow God’s wisdom concerning the home? Certainly all of us in one manner or another, either as a child, as a spouse, as a parent, or as a sibling, have had, and may yet have, a relationship with the home. In fact, most of us expect to have some relationship with the home for the entire extent of our lives. Thus the home is a significant element of our lives from beginning to end. Furthermore, the marriage relationship itself is of primary significance in most of our lives. Yes, our Lord does indeed call some to be single. Yet the majority of us will enter into the marriage relationship, and for most of us that relationship will extend over the majority of our lives. Yea, even before we enter into the marriage relationship, we generally spend some period of time thinking about, planning for, and developing relationships that might lead to marriage. Thus the marriage relationship is indeed a significant element in our lives. Finally, the marriage and home relationships are the foundational building block of society. As goes the marriage, so goes the home. As goes the home; so goes the church, and so goes the country. Since marriage and the home are so significant to our existence in this present life, certainly it is of great importance that we find trustworthy guidance concerning their success. How much more trustworthy guidance may we find than that of the wisdom of the Lord our God!

* Fuel your need
* Heed the Creed
* Dare to become a Champion!Have you ever wondered how people become champions? Is it talent? Is it brains? Is it luck? Is it passion? Motivation? Hard work? Or is it something else? Something that perhaps you too could have or possess but just not know it?
Geoff Colvin, author of Talent Is Overrated: What really separates world-class performance believes the answer lies inside two questions: what do you really want? And what do you really believe? He says, “Great performance is not reserved for a preordained few. It is available to you and to everyone.”
Listen! Every champion sooner or later discovers this. Along the way their belief turns into a vow, the vow into a pledge, and the pledge into a mission-to live as a champion. And it’s all guided by a creed-a set of beliefs they follow, embody, and put in play.
Living your life as a champion is a worthy goal, a challenging odyssey worthy of every ounce of effort you can put into it. Our goal is to help you do it; help you become the champion you were meant to be. What it takes is a dream, a plan, a will, a finish, and a creed. This is the purpose of Becoming Champions for Life. Champions do out of what they are inside. And we can’t wait for you to come inside to take the ride of your life. We can’t wait to see you make a difference, be a difference, become the difference.
So what are you waiting for? Get in the zone. Join our team. Grow your dream. Feed your need on The Champion’s Creed. And become a champion for life!

I know I have…Paul expressed it this way: “Oh wretched man that I am who shall deliver me from the body of this death…?” The struggle to know whether or not HE wants to; can find rest in The House of Grace. Wild grace abounds in our day and says you are entitled to prosper in the areas of self, health & wealth.

GOD’s love for them isn’t any different than it is for the Christians in the more affluent Nations, is it? In this book I hope to identify & answer some of these concerns from a biblical standpoint and show how you can prosper in just knowing the peace of GOD through grace, repentance, and forgiveness. For those of us who acknowledge the Creator of the Universe as our God, Savior, and Lord, this document tends to stir up both the sadness at the exponential slippage from our foundations as a Country, and a challenge to stand strongly and openly against the growing intensity of those who would remove “religion” from America. The “nations rage” sometimes and “imagine a vain thing,” but “he who sits in the heavens shall laugh.”

Integrated Gospels
$21.23Although the “according to” Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are complementary it is challenging to the reader to comprehend the overall narrative as they are not organized by any consecutive line of thought or chronology.
Each Gospel has a different emphasis and organization, shaped to be relevant to it’s own purpose and audience; reflecting the differences of interest and environment.
The Integrated Gospels consolidates the “according to” Gospels into a cohesive, reader friendly Gospel, presenting it in a chronologically and thematically consistent text by interweaving and arranging the scripture verses into a singular continuous narrative, thereby becoming relevant to all readers at all times.
This unique text is presented exclusively in scripture verses with verse citations in margin of the quoted scripture for reference purposes. Employing no added commentary or paraphrasing The Integrated Gospels faithfully preserves the integrity of the Word of God, affording the reader a new and beneficial perspective on “The Greatest Story Ever Told”.

There are over one hundred explicit quotations of Scripture in Paul’s letters and at least two hundred allusions. The coming of Jesus and the birth of the church caused Paul to look at the Scriptures with new eyes, sometimes clarifying what was written and sometimes reinterpreting it. This volume illuminates Paul’s use of the Old Testament, providing a big-picture overview for students of the New Testament. Steve Moyise, a recognized expert on the use of the Old Testament in the New, discusses Paul’s handling of creation stories, Abraham, Moses, the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings. He then assesses competing contemporary approaches to Paul’s interpretations of Scripture.Add to cartin stock within 3-5 days of online purchase

Targum And Testament Revisited
$35.99Targum and Testament Revisited is a new edition of a text first published in 1972, now revised in light of research during the intervening period. In his introduction Martin McNamara details significant developments in the field, ending with a note on the tell-like structure of targumic tradition, with interpretations from different ages, also showing the presence of continuity in interpretation of certain passages down through the centuries of Jewish history.
The first part of the book examines the formation of targumic tradition, specifically treating the early written Targums, Aramaic as the language of the Jews, and the origin, transmission, and date of the Targums of the Pentateuch and the Prophets. Part two considers the possible relationship between certain New Testament passages and targumic tradition, including a reverential manner of speaking of God; God and creation; the Holy Spirit; sin and virtue; eschatology; and the Targums and Johannine literature.
There has been intense examination of most aspects of targumic tradition over recent decades. McNamara draws on these varied sources – including the annotated English translation of all the Targums in the Aramaic Bible – and offers an appendix outlining all extant Targums of the rabbinic tradition. McNamara’s updated overview will be an indispensable resource for scholars of biblical and Jewish studies.

Justified In The Spirit
$35.99A pneumatological, Pentecostal-friendly theology of justification by faith – broadly Trinitarian, ecclesiological, and eschatological in orientation
The classic debate on justification by grace through faith has historically been limited to the question of whether justification is the reception of forgiveness by faith alone (classically Protestant) or the personal transformation that occurs as we cooperate with grace (traditionally Catholic). While some more recent ecumenical discussions have sought to link the two, many of these efforts have been criticized as patchwork solutions that do not develop precisely how forgiveness and personal transformation via grace find integration under the larger notion of the justification of the sinner. Frank Macchia here seeks to fill that lacuna.
Inspired by the typically Pentecostal accent on the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Justified in the Spirit sets both Protestant and Catholic views within a larger framework, namely, the Spirit of Life as the realm of God’s favor. Since the Holy Spirit is the power of love and communion within the Trinity and between us and God, a pneumatological accent ultimately locates the justification of the sinner within the embrace of the Triune God as a communion of persons. Therefore, the Christological, eccelesiological, social, and ecological implications of justification can be fruitfully developed from the broad spaces of this Trinitarian communion.
In identifying divine favor with the realm of the Holy Spirit, Macchia here constructs a unique pneumatological theology of justification by faith that is broadly Trinitarian, ecclesiological, and eschatological in orientation.

Did The First Christians Worship Jesus
$32.00To answer the title question effectively requires more than the citing of a few texts; we must first acknowledge that the way to the answer is more difficult than it first appears, bravely facing the possibility that the answer may be less straightforward than many would like.
The author raises some fascinating yet vexing questions: What is worship? Is the fact that worship is offered to God (or a god) what defines him (or her) as “G/god?” What does the act of worship actually involve? The conviction that God had exalted Jesus to his right hand obviously is central to Christian recognition of the divine status of Jesus. But what did that mean for the first Christians as they sought to reconcile God’s status and that of the human Jesus? Perhaps the worship of Jesus was not an alternative to worship of God but another way of worshipping God.Yes, the questions are challenging but readers are ably guided in their quest for answers by James Dunn, one of the world’s top New Testament scholars.

Hammer Of God
$31.23According to the Gospel of John, Jesus Christ celebrated the Festival of Hanukkah (John 10:22). Hanukkah celebrates the heroic exploits of Judas Maccabeus and his battle for religious freedom. These events occurred during the four-hundred silent years between the Old and New Testaments. The Seleucid Greeks that ruled over the Jewish people made observing Judaism a capital offense and ordered all copies of the Bible to be collected and burned. In the year 167 Before Christ, Judas Maccabaeus led the Jewish people into battle to preserve the Holy Bible and to establish religious liberty. Judas was called Maccabeus which means “the Hammer” in Aramaic. Centuries later, in the year 732 A.D, Charles Martel, known as “Charles the Hammer,” fought to defend the religious liberties of the Christians and Jews in Europe when an army of Islamic terrorists threatened to eradicate Christianity in France. In The Hammer of God learn about the history of the battle for religious freedom, a battle that continues today.
