I think one of the differences of this book is its simplicity and direct approach to the inspired word given to the prophet, which in turn is given to us for our edification and posterity. We need to know what God is saying to us in His precious Word so we may come to know His will for our lives. Prophecy is being fulfilled every day, and we need to be aware of what God has in store for us. We need not be caught off guard as history moves rapidly to a final climax. He will come as a thief in the night when we least expect Him. We should always be ready for whatever and whenever God may send our way.
