  • Good Food Solution

    $17.99

Get to know your body by discovering how good food can be!

God gave you one physical body so you can live, move, and breathe, and He gave you a vital resource to fuel it–food. But because of damaging diet culture and pervasive body-shaming messages, it can be hard to have a relaxing, enjoyable relationship with food. Nutritionist Meredyth Fletcher believes that your perspective on food is directly impacted by your view of God, and in The (Good) Food Solution, she will help you shift any distorted perceptions on food to see it as a gift from God to nourish your body, rather than a burden.

This journey isn’t about trying the next fad diet or seeking a quick fix–it’s about finding the right balance for you. Drawing from personal stories and current research, Meredyth provides the tools you need to:

    *take an in-depth look at your emotions to uncover why you hold on to negative narratives about food;

    *learn scientifically based and biblically sound mind-body tools to forever change how you approach your health and faith;

*discover how having a healthy gut is the secret to attaining the God-given nutritional benefits of the food you eat and see real results!

God gave you a good body, and it’s up to you to give it what it needs. With Meredyth as your trustworthy guide, The (Good) Food Solution offers a shame-free invitation to bring Jesus into your most vulnerable places, take back your health, and experience food and body freedom for good.

    $22.99

Resiliently rooted in Christ–living into this formational moment.

What would it look like to form kids with lasting faith in Jesus, no matter the culture or context? Does this seem possible? It’s getting harder to imagine in our highly secularized culture. Current approaches to faith formation aren’t working. Matt Markins, Sam Luce, and Mike Handler combine leadership experience from Awana–global pioneer in children’s discipleship–with pastoral wisdom, to provide a much needed, timely resource for the church and home.

Forming Faith helps us understand what isn’t working, why it doesn’t work, and what we can do to build the church. Forming Faith brings not only analysis; it provides biblically based, backed-by-research solutions to form lasting faith in our children.

We have real concerns and fears for the kids we love. More than anything we want to see younger generations follow Jesus with conviction and compassion. What must we be doing at church and at home to strengthen our influence? This resource provides the focus, resiliency, and hope we all need!

  • When Faith Disappoints

    $17.00

For anyone who feels the weight of injustice, trauma, and suffering, the founder of the Jude 3 Project invites you to discover how to find hope when you can’t make sense of the pain.

Living as a Black woman in America, Lisa Victoria Fields understands the tension of relying on God in a broken world. While pursuing her calling in full-time Christian ministry–an often white, male-dominated vocation–she saw the contentions many people have with Christianity. She heard the theological questions, but instead of arguing for her faith, she listened to the barriers and heard the pain in their hearts: Why doesn’t God protect me from suffering and injustice? Others don’t seem to think I have value–does God?

Now, in her debut book, Fields shows us how emotional pain–often more than theological concerns–is at the root of our doubt. She invites us to bring our deepest soul questions to this journey as she explores:

    – Seven pain points that might be keeping us from faith: a lack of personhood, peace, provision, pleasure, purpose, protection, and power

    – Honest talk about how Christianity doesn’t seem to meet our very valid needs

    – Why wrestling with God doesn’t negate our faith but instead deepens it

    – What it looks like to allow God to bring healing to our pain so we can see Him and others more clearly

Through vulnerable storytelling and thoughtful use of Scripture, Fields tends to our hurting hearts and offers hope and resolve. She helps us move forward as we cling to a faith that brings us back to the truth of Christianity–not despite the pain of this world but in light of it.

  • Womanish Theology : Discovering God Through The Lens Of Black Girlhood

    $39.99

Khristi Lauren Adams’s faith was first shaped by her experiences as a Black girl–learning about Scripture from her grandmother, Mama Hattie; “playing church” with her seven cousins over summer vacation; and grieving the murder of her sixteen-year-old friend when she was just fifteen.

In Womanish Theology, Adams reflects on those experiences, inviting readers to learn from a new perspective and guiding them to a deeper understanding of their own spirituality.

This groundbreaking book introduces a new branch of theological thought Adams calls womanish, as a play on the womanist tradition (the theology of Black womanhood). “Womanish,” remembers Adams, is a term Black mothers used for young girls as they grew more interested in doing grown-up things. Adams draws on her own life story as well as the life stories of other Black girls to explore theological concepts such as Scripture, theodicy, salvation, prayer, neighborly love, and the image of God.

Through this journey, readers will learn that theology is for everyone and that the whole community of God can learn from the spiritual insights of Black girls.

  • More Than A Carpenter

    $7.99

He thought Christianity was a sham. Then it changed his life.

Skeptic Josh McDowell thought Christians were out of their minds. He ridiculed and insulted them, then decided to combat them with his own robust research to disprove the claims of Jesus Christ. Now, in this revised and updated edition, Josh is joined by his son, Sean McDowell, as they tackle the questions that today’s generation continues to ask:

  • Journey To Biblical Masculinity

    $18.99

As culture attacks men, marriages, and families, the Church has failed to empower men to connect courageously and consistently with the story God wants to write with them.

Looking to Jesus as the model, Jake Hamiliton casts a fresh vision of Spirit-empowered masculinity that calls men to be who they were created to be. Diving into Scripture, ancient traditions, and the mythological story of Parzival, Jake reveals 12 time-tested pathways God uses to train you to:

*own the radical responsibility God’s placed on you, no matter the cost
*use your unique perspectives and personality to fight the evil around you
*hold your ground with confidence, courage, and conviction
*no longer be sidelined by shame, addiction, depression, and disconnection
*live with purpose, clarity, integrity, and boldness

Biblical masculinity is not toxic. It is modeled in the life of Jesus Christ. It’s what our world needs. It’s time for real heroes to rise up, stand with humble strength, and fight against all odds for your identity, marriage, children, and the Kingdom.

  • Disobedient Women : How A Small Group Of Faithful Women Exposed Abuse, Brou

    $18.99

    A NATIONAL BESTSELLER!

Uncover the true story of courageous American Christian women who confronted and aimed to reform the patriarchal structures and abusive practices within their churches and religious communities.

A generation of American Christian girls was taught submitting to men is God’s will. They were taught not to question the men in their families or their pastors. They were told to remain sexually pure and trained to feel shame if a man was tempted. Some of these girls were abused and assaulted. Some made to shrink down so small they became a shadow of themselves. To question their leaders was to question God.

All the while, their male leaders built fiefdoms from megachurches and sprawling ministries. They influenced politics and policy. To protect their church’s influence, these men covered up and hid abuse. American Christian patriarchy, as it rose in political power and cultural sway over the past four decades, hurt many faithful believers. Millions of Americans abandoned churches they once loved.

Yet among those who stayed (and a few who still loved the church they fled), a brave group of women spoke up. They built online megaphones, using the democratizing power of technology to create long-overdue change.

In Disobedient Women, journalist Sarah Stankorb gives long-overdue recognition for these everyday women as leaders and as voices for a different sort of faith. Their work has driven journalists to help bring abuse stories to national attention. Stankorb weaves together the efforts of these courageous voices in order to present a full, layered portrait of the treatment of women and the fight for change within the modern American church.

Disobedient Women is not just a look at the women who have used the internet to bring down the religious power structures that were meant to keep them quiet, but also a picture of the large-scale changes that are happening within evangelical culture regarding women’s roles, ultimately underscoring the ways technology has created a place for women to challenge traditional institutions from within.

A lifeline of hope for parents of teens who feel adrift on the real and raw parenting journey, presented with wisdom and faith–and a touch of candid humor–from seasoned educator, mother, and Today Parenting contributor Amy Betters-Midtvedt.

As a mom with five kids ages twelve to twenty-two living at home, Amy Betters-Midtvedt found that parenting teens challenged everything she thought it meant to be a “good” mom. But in the unraveling came the building of something new and more beautiful than she could have imagined: an incredible sense of love, hope, joy, and relationship–even in the mess.

You’ll Make It (and They Will Too) is as much about navigating the minefields of anxiety and mental health as it is setting curfews, convincing kids to bring their dishes back to the kitchen, and deciding whose turn it is to have the car keys. It’s about dancing in the kitchen with soon-to-be adult kids who are taller than you. It’s making appointments with a therapist and a college admissions counselor in the same week. It’s helping your kids cling to faith even as they reject the pew on Sunday mornings.

  • Becoming Spiritually Intelligent

    $19.99

What is spiritual intelligence? How do you gain it? And what if it looks a lot like love?

This first-of-its-kind guide to spiritual intelligence–rooted in attachment theory, Christian formation, and the science of spirituality–helps us develop healthy attachments, grow into our most secure selves, and love others in the way God loves. With the care of a pastor and the rigor of a researcher, Paul M. Burns gives us practical ways to develop our spiritual intelligence: the capacity to love God, ourselves, and others. Becoming a spiritually intelligent person means cultivating an attachment to God, learning self-differentiation, and nurturing empathy. Burns outlines nine paths toward “”lovingness,”” such as the path of sensing God’s nearness and the path of self-regulation.

Understanding the human psyche–a word that derives from the Greek for “”soul””–can help us grow in Christlike love. How do our earliest attachments shape our sense of who God is? How might stories from Scripture resonate anew when we read them through the lens of attachment theory and brain science? Each chapter offers a spiritual intelligence practice, reflection questions, and a prayer to help us translate emotional and spiritual insights into everyday life.

Your most loving self is the you who feels secure. The bad news is that you can’t love well when you’re feeling threatened–and you can’t rid yourself of such insecurity overnight. The good news is that, over time and with practice, you can discover deeper levels of attachment to God, self-differentiation, and empathy for others. Reminiscent of the work of Richard Foster, Ruth Haley Barton, and Ronald Rolheiser, Becoming Spiritually Intelligent is an authoritative guide to emotional health, relational intimacy, and spiritual growth.

  • Feeling Your Way Through Grief

    $16.99

Nothing can prepare you for the death of a loved one, and nothing is ever the same after. How do you even begin to live after loss?

When author Missy Buchanan lost her beloved husband of 43 years, she was devastated. As she looked for meaningful resources to help her with her grief, Missy found most books too long or heady. So, she decided to process her grief in her own way … by writing personal notes to her husband, unfiltered and straight from her heart.

In this poignant collection of reflections from that first year, Missy opens the window wide onto her personal journey and all the raw emotions that bubbled up from day to day. From family holidays to everyday tasks such as pumping gas or taking out the trash, Missy’s tender notes resonate with the shared experiences of grief, offering a guiding light and true companion for your own journey. Along the way, she also affirms that faith is not lacking when you don’t feel “strong” and that being vulnerable can help support the healing process.

Feeling Your Way Through Grief is an invitation to embrace the complexities of loss, find solace in genuine emotions, and embark on a faithful journey toward healing. Reflection questions at the end of each chapter invite you to explore your own emotions more deeply, gently guiding you along your unwanted journey of grief.

  • Count Me In

    $17.99

Today’s students are constantly pulled toward a life of confusion and half-baked beliefs. But Jesus Christ is calling them to something greater than anything this world can offer. He offers eternal life that includes a living relationship with God, a radical commitment to truth, and a life of love, compassion, and purpose. A radical life that counts now and in eternity.

Count Me In walks students through the entire Gospel of Luke and Jesus’s bold invitation to follow Him daily, obey Him faithfully, and trust Him completely. Each of the eight chapters focuses on an important element of discipleship, from studying Scripture to sharing Jesus with others. Students will be challenged with:

    * Do I value the right relationships?
    * Do I have a healthy perspective of my earthly stuff?
    * Do I let temptation and sin block my spiritual growth?
    * Do I have a plan to keep my life intentionally grounded in Christ?

Including reflection questions and discussion guides, this book can easily work for solo readers or group studies. Students should feel inspired to take on a deeper study of Scripture and challenged to take Christ’s call of discipleship seriously in their own lives.

To surrender and put Him first in every area. To be a part of His message and His mission to the nations. • Lay Me In Gods Good Earth

    $20.00

A Christian case for natural burial

The promises of the Christian gospel are never more precious or more beautiful than in the context of death and burial. And yet current burial practices in Western society are archaic and impersonal. They fail to confront us with the reality of death, and they make it harder to process death or to grieve properly.

Kent Burreson and Beth Hoeltke have been teaching a Christian understanding of death and natural burial for many years. They argue that natural burial-laying the body into the earth in a way that allows it to decompose naturally-is not only better for the environment but is also a more accurate picture of Christian hope of the resurrection. Grounded in sound Christian teaching about death and burial, they advocate for natural burial and offer practical instructions for navigating the complex questions around burial practices.

Lay Me in God’s Good Earth is not only an immensely practical guide to natural burial; it is also an application of the hope of the resurrection to those grieving the loss of their loved ones.

  • Faithful Politics : Ten Approaches To Christian Citizenship And Why It Matt

    $24.00

Christians who seek to relate their faith to politics have always encountered tensions. Instead of easy answers and simple checklists, we need tools to help us thoughtfully navigate the complexities of Christian faithfulness in an increasingly diverse and polarized society.

In this book, Miranda Zapor Cruz guides readers in forming a vision of citizenship that brings Christian convictions into political engagement while avoiding common pitfalls. Cruz provides a measured, nonpartisan overview of different ways Christians have approached political participation. These ten views represent a range of theological approaches to the relationship between the kingdom of God and the country, including Anabaptist, social gospel, principled pluralist, and Christian nationalist. Cruz describes strengths and weaknesses of each view, with a focus on Christian faithfulness.

In the United States, Cruz argues, Christians who share very similar faith convictions can arrive at different political conclusions. There are, however, principles from Scripture and theology that should inform our thinking and remind us that our ultimate citizenship is in the kingdom of God. Faithful Politics helps us learn from Christians of the past as we discern how to be salt and light in our own time and place.

  • Shape Of My Eyes

    $27.00

A touching, humorous account of the author’s cultural reckoning with his Korean heritage and hidden family secrets.

A surprising diagnosis of PTSD led Dave Gibbons to look to his past for clues to explain the unexpected result.

Born to an American soldier and a Korean mother in the wake of the Korean War, Dave has spent his life struggling to blend his Korean roots and his very American upbringing. The family joins a conservative church that embraces a strict, rule-based faith, and they try to navigate life as one of the few mixed-raced families in their community. But when tragedy strikes, tearing the family apart, Dave is forced to face long- buried secrets that he can no longer ignore.

As he explores his family’s difficult past, he confronts his own pain and the persistent feelings of not quite fitting in either in America or his mother’s home country. And when a DNA test ultimately reveals a truth that shatters everything he understood about his history, he begins the journey to reconcile his American upbringing with his deep Korean roots, and he is forced to confront the traumas he unknowingly carried.

The Shape of My Eyes beautifully weaves historic reference points of the oppression and discrimination against Asian Americans with Dave’s own personal story. Dave’s wrestling with belonging in his family, in America, and in the church creates a raw, thought-provoking memoir about race, religion and finding home.

Nothing Is Wasted is a story for anyone who has encountered trauma, tragedy, or a major transition and wondered, How do I begin to move forward through what I’ve experienced?

Where is God in the midst of your greatest pain?

Davey Blackburn wrestled with that age-old question in the aftermath of the murder of his beloved wife, Amanda, and their unborn daughter. As the high-profile case slowly meandered its way toward legal justice, Davey embarked on the wrenching task of finding strength to restore his shattered soul and the broken pieces of his life.

At turns horrific yet hope-filled, heartbreaking yet faith-affirming, Nothing Is Wasted is Blackburn’s disarmingly raw account not only of the shocking tragedy that forever changed his life but of his late wife’s inspiring trust in the God who welcomed her into His loving arms.

The trauma he endured could have made anyone try to escape from the agony, yet by grace Blackburn chose to face the pain head-on and cling to his Savior to guide him through the storm.

  • Image Of God In The Person Of Jesus

    $16.95

Our image of God reveals not only God’s character, but our own.

Who is Jesus? Is Jesus more immanent (human) or transcendent (divine)? Because we are created in the image of God and Jesus is divine, the church struggles to define Jesus. This impulse can be a genuine attempt to know God better or it can be an insidious attempt to create God in our own image. This struggle is often tinged with a bit of both.

The Letter to the Church at Thessalonica was likely the first book written in the New Testament. In a literary sense, the implication is that the Apostle Paul is the father of the New Testament. Paul only knew the Risen Christ and, for him, the divinity of Christ was obvious. By contrast, the Gospels that record the humanity of Christ were written almost a generation later. Thus, the transcendence problem facing postmodern people that fixates on the humanity of Christ is relatively new.

My recent book, Image and Illumination (2023), asked the question-What does it mean to be created in the image of God?- focused on Christian anthropology. Embedded in this question is the metaphysical question: Who is God? The New Testament addresses this question with three pictures of God: The person of Jesus, Jesus’ teaching about God the Father in the parables, and the founding of the church on Pentecost by the Holy Spirit. In this book, I focus on the Image of God in the Person of Jesus.

  • Unity : Striving Side By Side For The Gospel

    $12.99

Exploring Unity as a Fruit of the Gospel

Christians most effectively serve others and advance God’s kingdom when they are in biblical unity with one another. Unfortunately, modern Christians seem to be divided on countless issues related to ministry, culture, the church, and even unity itself. Some prioritize organizational unity over gospel truth, while others only seek unity with those who share their same doctrinal beliefs.

In this short, accessible guide, author Conrad Mbewe explores unity as a fruit of the gospel. He finds that biblical unity is only achieved after understanding what God has done through Christ and how it is continuously executed by the Holy Spirit. This biblically centered book encourages readers to respond to Paul’s apostolic plea of “standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel” (Phil. 1:27), embracing unity as a valuable, God-given blessing.

*Encourages Unity: Explores unity as a fruit of the gospel that is only understood through what God has done through Christ and executed by the Holy Spirit

*Practical Study: This concise guide encourages Christians to stand firm in the spirit and in unity with others

When peace seems far from us and when true rest doesn’t come, we don’t need more to-dos on our list or a set of step-by-step instructions to help us get there on our own. True peace, hope, and rest only comes by spending time in the presence of God.

Spend 90 days in His Word focused on who God is and what He is like and find that He is worthy to be trusted at every twist or turn of life. He is better than our minds can imagine, in control of all things, and infinitely good. As you do, you will:

*find peace in His sovereign care
*enjoy security in His promise of eternity
*experience joy in His great love for you
*rest in the God who never sleeps
*trust God for your every need
    *find comfort in His Spirit
*learn to live out your faith as an overflow of His glorious grace

God is the sustainer of the rhythms of the skies and seasons, as well as the intricate rhythms of our lives. To dwell in His presence is the promise of salvation, the abundant life in Christ today, and the eternal life with Him in the future. While the ways of the world lead to death, His invitation is to come and live. He truly is our highest good.

Like a River, a triumphant story of new life birthed out of tragedy, will teach readers how to face their failures, confront their pain, and connect with God–the true source of life.

On June 4th, 2019, country music singer Granger Smith was enjoying a final evening with his kids before heading to Nashville for the CMT Music Awards and his next tour. While helping his daughter London with her gymnastics, his youngest son fell into their pool. Granger did everything he could to get to him, but he was too late. River drowned, and Granger’s world shattered.

The days, weeks, and months that followed River’s death sent Granger on a dark and painful journey. Every time he closed his eyes, he replayed the horrific event in his mind, and every time he opened his computer, he was bombarded by the critique and criticism of people who blamed him for the accident.

Despite his best effort to get back on stage with a smile and song, it was all a faade. On the inside he was dying. Fortunately, that’s not how his story ended. And now he is compelled to help people all around the world find strength, peace, and hope on the other side of tragedy.

*Like a River, life is full of twists and turns.
*Like a River, people pollute our world with their critique and criticism.
*Like a River, tragic events keep us dammed up.
*But like a river, we can find the courage to keep moving downstream.

Rivers don’t run on their own strength; they flow from their source. When we try to keep going on our own, we won’t make it, but when we connect to the greater source, we will find the strength and the faith to keep living after loss. This triumphant story of new life birthed out of death will inspire every reader to live Like a River.

  • New Royals : Overcoming Insecurity To Become The Woman God Says You Are

    $24.00

A revolution for women to live confidently in their God-given identity and united in the call to bring goodness to the world, adapted from Born of a Woman, from speaker and pastor of the influential Shoreline City Church.

“In these pages, you will experience the beauty of a friend who says, ‘Royal sister, take a seat. We have been waiting for you!'”-Charlotte Gambill, pastor, author, and global Bible teacher

We know women are meant to bring powerful and lasting goodness into the world because God repeatedly called women to do so: He trusted Mary to give birth to Jesus, Esther to save His people, and Deborah to lead His kingdom. Yet so much of our potential is limited by our own insecurity and fear. It’s time for us to stand confident in our stunning worth as royal daughters, unite in community, and walk in the unshakable hope of Christ.

In a message that’s both vibrant and conversational, Pastor Oneka McClellan reminds us that God has uniquely positioned and gifted women to be a source of life, wisdom, and strength. Through insightful biblical truths and real stories of women showing up in powerful ways, McClellan equips you to:

    *completely trust your God-given identity
*lead with courage and wisdom in any room
*fight for the flourishing of others
*celebrate the greatness in every woman
*see with eyes of hope that God can redeem any story

To every woman who’s ever felt held back, pushed down, or disqualified from stepping fully into her purpose, McClellan’s Born Royal offers hope, encouragement, and empowerment. It also sounds a liberating call for each and every one of us-including you-to walk boldly and precisely as the women God has created us to be.

  • Misled : 7 Lies That Distort The Gospel And How You Can Discern The Truth

    $19.99

The gospel is under attack today–not only from outside cultural forces but also from within the church. In Misled, popular YouTuber and Bible teacher Allen Parr equips readers to identify and withstand seven of the most common false teachings that undermine the gospel and lead many well-meaning Christians astray.

For an anxious and weary world, the gospel of Jesus Christ is the one true source of deep peace and lasting joy. But today, many supposedly Christian teachers are spreading ideas that amount to what Paul called “another gospel.”

The result? A generation of believers confused about what God really says, what he offers, and what he wants for his children. From the heavy burden of legalism to an overemphasis on prosperity or spiritual gifts to warped understandings of grace, every false teaching has two things in common: they all use half-truths that look and sound biblical (making them very difficult to identify) and they all harm and discourage those who are trying to follow the way of Jesus.

In Misled, Allen Parr weaves together stories from his own spiritual journey and the lives of those he’s ministered to in order to show the painful consequences of following false teachings and to provide clear explanations of what the Bible really teaches about the gospel. Readers will

    *learn about seven of the most misleading and harmful messages that run rampant within the church today;

*be equipped to identify not only “wolves in shepherd’s clothing” who peddle counterfeit gospels, but also well-intentioned teachers whose half-truths are no less harmful to the church; and

*discover how they can find the freedom, peace, and joy that only comes from embracing the gospel in all its purity and simplicity.

With the same balanced, Bible-based approach that has made Parr’s YouTube channel a go-to resource, Misled offers clarity and hope for anyone who has felt discouraged or confused in their spiritual journey–and invites readers to find everything they’ve been searching for in the true gospel.

  • Long Obedience In The Same Direction Commemorative Edition

    $18.00

    Over 300,000 Copies Sold

Since Eugene Peterson first wrote this spiritual formation classic more than forty years ago, hundreds of thousands of Christians have been inspired by its call to deeper discipleship. As a society, we are still obsessed with the immediate, but Peterson’s time-tested prescription for discipleship remains the same-a long obedience in the same direction.

Long obedience requires a deepening life of prayer. Peterson finds encouragement for today’s pilgrims in the Songs of Ascents (Psalms 120-134), sung by travelers on their way to worship in Jerusalem. With prophetic and pastoral wisdom, Peterson shows how the psalms teach us to grow in worship, service, joy, work, happiness, humility, community, and blessing.

This commemorative edition of A Long Obedience in the Same Direction includes a preface taken from Leif Peterson’s eulogy at his father’s memorial service and a bibliography of Peterson’s works. A companion Bible study guide is also available.

  • His Face Like Mine

    $18.00

Have you ever tasted true freedom?

Russell Joyce was born with a rare craniofacial disorder called Goldenhar syndrome, where the left side of his face was not formed. Years of patchwork surgeries made him more outwardly presentable, but not without deep pain and physical and emotional scars. But a life-changing encounter broke through to him with a power he never thought possible, in the very place he never thought to look-his broken face.

This set Russell on a journey to understand what was hindering him and others from experiencing the power of God’s grace and being truly set free. During a season of starting a new church in Brooklyn, New York, he learned how the broken places of our lives can be transformed when Jesus meets us in the realities of our woundedness. God doesn’t love us despite our wounds but through those very wounds. By his scars we are healed, and we can find new depths of freedom in Christ, scars and all.

A warning: this journey will not be easy. A promise: it will be well worth the risk.

  • Irreverent Prayers : Talking To God When You’re Seriously Sick

    $21.99

Two pastors share their experiences with serious illness–and their candid, darkly humorous prayers for making it through.

Samantha Vincent-Alexander almost died from a septic leg infection. Elizabeth Felicetti underwent aggressive treatment for both breast and lung cancer in the space of a few months–and then the cancer came back. As Episcopal priests, they know well the typical prayers offered in times like these. But when you’re seriously sick, you need more than psalms and sentimentality.

You need to tell God how you really feel.

With vulnerability and wry humor, Felicetti and Vincent-Alexander share the prayers they wish they had when they were ill: thanksgiving for one-size-fits-all hospital underwear, curses against Tylenol, frustrated appeals when well-wishers call you brave or inspiring. At once faithful and brutally honest, these prayers offer readers a more candid way of communicating with the God who understands human suffering with an incarnational intimacy.

Talking to God when you’re fighting serious illness can feel impossible. But God can bear our doubt, anger, anxiety, and grief. This unconventional prayerbook helps readers access a deeper relationship with God in raw times–and offers them a place of solidarity and spiritual rest.

  • Great To Good

    $18.00

    Greatness is overrated.

People tend to measure success by worldly standards. We assume that greatness comes from charisma, influence, and followers. But God cares more about our character than about what people around us think of our reputations.

Pastor Jae Hoon Lee challenges us not to pursue greatness but to grow in goodness. Jesus called his followers to cultivate character of goodness, not to aspire to positions of power. The faithful Christian life is one that seeks to become good. These reflections and meditations on the good Christian life unpack what it means for the church to live in obedience and faith, to strip away ambitious self-glorification, and to instead live humble lives of goodness and love.

  • Disarming Leviathan : Loving Your Christian Nationalist Neighbor

    $18.00

    Ministering to Christian Nationalists

Pastor Caleb Campbell has watched as Christian nationalism has taken over large swaths of the United States. And he’s suffered the relational fallout of standing against it, both in his community and his church. While it’s possible to be both a Christian and hold Christian nationalist ideas, Christian nationalism itself is an un-Christian worldview, rooted in ideas about power, race, and property that are irreconcilable with Christian faith. Campbell has come to see himself as a missionary to Christian nationalists, reaching out to them with the love and freedom of Jesus Christ.

In Disarming Leviathan, Campbell equips Christians to minister to their Christian nationalist neighbors. He introduces the basics of Christian nationalism and explores the reasons so many people are attracted to it. He also addresses a variety of American Christian nationalist talking points and offers questions and responses that humbly subvert these claims and cultivate deeper, heart-level conversations.

Christian nationalism is an established feature of the American landscape. Disarming Leviathan can help prepare us to confront it with compassion and hospitality, and with the truth of the good news of Jesus.

  • Sacred Scars : Resting In God’s Promise That Your Past Is Not Wasted

    $39.99

We all endure trials, pain, and hardship in this life. The enemy often uses those experiences to convince us that our brokenness disqualifies us from ever being used by God again–that we can no longer be a testimony because of our emotional or physical scars. In Sacred Scars, neuropsychologist and fellow sufferer Dr. Michelle Bengtson helps you:

*understand suffering through a biblical perspective
*discover how the trials of your life serve a purpose
*reflect on the healing that God has accomplished
*comfort others with the comfort God has given you

  • Science Of Supernatural Thinking

    $26.99

Do Your Thoughts Invite the Demonic or the Divine?

Is your mind clouded with thoughts of depression or anxiety, even anger or bitterness? Have you tried to rise up and renew your mind only to be weighed down by exhaustion or laid low by hopelessness?

The truth is that what you think controls who has access to your mind. Even seemingly harmless thoughts can open gates in your mind that allow the enemy to secretly infiltrate, build strongholds, and turn your mind to wage war against the very One that you long to serve.

But what’s been opened can always be closed.

Having helped multitudes experience spiritual freedom from demonic forces, Jareb Nott shows how you can seal off the powers of darkness from your mind and tear down their strongholds, empowering you to think thoughts that host the peace, presence, and power of God. Through scientific and biblical research, he offers a step-by-step process to help you transform your mind into a supernaturally impenetrable fortress of hope and joy!

In this revolutionary yet practical book, Jareb not only exposes the enemy’s insidious strategies for infecting your mind, but he also reveals how to:

    *Silence the enemy’s tormenting thoughts.
*Think the kind of thoughts that host God’s presence.
*Wield the power of biblical meditation, prayer, and intercession to renew your mind.
*Build supernatural strongholds in your mind that open the gates of Heaven.
*Protect your life and mind from the powers of darkness.
    *And more!

A deeper dimension of fellowship and encounter with the Holy Spirit awaits you! Stop empowering the darkness to dominate your thoughts. It’s time to dominate the darkness–and flood your mind with the transforming light of God’s presence.

  • Tu Dios Es Demasiado Glorioso – (Spanish)

    $16.95

  • Art Of Being A Creature

    $25.00

From AI to the Anthropocene, technological power has pushed human life to the limits. It’s at those limits that we’re faced again with the questions of who we are and how we should live. What if a study of the soil, the humus from which humanity came, could shed light on our condition? What if attending to the soil could teach us something about how we should live? In The Art of Being a Creature, Ragan Sutterfield explores these questions in conversation with the ground. Turning a compost pile while meditating on kenosis or reflecting on St. Bernard while examining fungal hyphae, Sutterfield seeks to recover the practice of humility by looking at the humus. The path toward being fully human, he finds, is not to be discovered through a spiritual seeking in the heavens, but through a pilgrimage to the soil beneath our feet. Anyone who reads The Art of Being a Creature will never see the soil, or their life upon it, the same again.

  • I Am A Woman

It’s time for women to reclaim what makes them uniquely female and affirm God’s breathtaking design for womanhood.

“Wake up!” cries Jennifer Strickland in this bracing call to women. With womanhood itself under a withering cultural attack, this is no time for Christians to stand teary-eyed on the sidelines.

Men are invading women’s sports and even bathrooms, while schools indoctrinate children in lies about gender fluidity. The assault of insanity on reality took normal women by surprise, but we can’t waste another minute in fighting back.

Our culture needs an answer to transgenderism, pornography, sexual violence, and the lies that are crippling our young women and robbing them of their dignity We cannot abdicate our responsibility to the next generation. It is up to women who fear God to restore the true meaning of our name.

Women have had enough. And now it’s time to rise up as emboldened warriors to declare the truth against the gender-bending culture’s lies.

Jennifer Strickland, a podcaster, author, and former model, is calling women to use their influence to expose the lies of gender ideology and point children and teens back to God’s beautiful design for male and female.

In I Am a Woman, Strickland calls Christians to uphold the dignity of womanhood with clarity and compassion. She urges readers to cherish the power imbedded in the name “Woman”-because women are not undefinable. The name “Woman” means guardian, rescuer, advocate, protector, and life-bearer. Women must reclaim their name and reject any agenda that diminishes the dignity of sex and gender for future generations-before it’s too late.

    $17.00

God gave us divinely sophisticated tools, so we could live the powerful life he intended. The problem is most of us don’t know they exist . . . or how to use them. The result is an inner worth we aren’t aware of and a life unknowingly lived at half capacity.

Neighbor, Love Yourself launches an internal expedition to uncover the hidden features installed within us bearing our Maker’s fingerprints. Though we’ve forgotten how to use these custom parts, they still work. They’re not rusty, just dusty.

Bryan Crum spent a decade as a hospice chaplain. His time at the bedside of dying people gave him a front-row view into how God designed us. He discovered that most people felt they never reached their full potential. Their longings and regrets led to incredible insights about what’s most often missed-the power of love.

Filled with memorable stories and timeless takeaways, Neighbor, Love Yourself reveals how understanding our inner value changes the way we live on the outside. Before we can truly love our neighbors-or anyone else-we must learn to love ourselves as God intended.

If you’ve doubted your design, felt unfulfilled, or are unaware of the divine features inside you, this book is like finding a lost owner’s manual to your inner workings-one that invites you to take joy in your pricelessness instead of wondering about your worth.

  • Othered : Finding Belonging With The God Who Pursues The Hurt, Harmed, And

    $39.99

God’s people are meant to be a blessing to others. Yet in the Scriptures, throughout history, and in our own times we too often see the people of God causing harm to people on the margins. Rather than caring for the widowed and the orphaned or loving the sojourner, too often we see abuse of power that breaks spirits and inflicts lasting harm.

For anyone who has felt left out or pushed out of the church, Othered is your invitation to find spiritual rest and belonging in a God who loves, restores, and blesses the outcast and the marginalized. Jenai Auman draws on her experience growing up as a biracial kid in the American South as well as working within toxic ministry environments to reveal a hopeful, trauma-informed way forward. This book illuminates how hurt and betrayal in the church are longstanding problems that God neither sanctions nor tolerates. It offers holistic responses to the grief, anger, and trauma that come with being ostracized or oppressed by the church. And it shows how God provides shelter and provision in the midst of the wilderness.

Because God sees, hears, and loves you–even if the church has failed you.

    $19.99

In a world of so much hurt, how can we create communities of care and healing?

While much of contemporary Christianity careens toward a spirituality of individual salvation and the afterlife, the call of Jesus to create communities that enact justice and bring peace on earth is often tragically ignored. In his revelatory new book Looking Inward, Living Outward, author and student of the spiritual life Daniel Wolpert calls us back to a life of prayer and core spiritual practices that re-orient our gaze outward in acts of social transformation.

Drawing from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, one of the most radical speeches in human history, this encouraging and practical guide connects acts of contemplation with action, providing a biblically based and spiritually grounded course corrective for how Christians are called to live as Beloved Community today. • How To Stay Married

    $19.99

One gorgeous autumn day, Harrison discovers that his wife–the sweet, funny, loving mother of their three daughters, a woman “who’s spent just about every Sunday of her life in a church”–is having an affair with a family friend. This revelation propels the hysterical, heartbreaking events in How to Stay Married, casting our narrator onto “the factory floor of hell,” where his wife was now in love with a man who “wears cargo shorts, on purpose.” What will he do? Kick her out? Set fire to all her panties in the yard? Beat this man to death with a gardening implement? Ask God for help in winning her back?

Armed only with a sense of humor and a hunger for the truth, Harrison embarks on a hellish journey into his past, seeking answers to the riddles of faith and forgiveness. Through an absurd series of escalating confessions and betrayals, Harrison reckons with his failure to love his wife in the ways she needed most, resolves to fight for his family, and in a climax almost too ridiculous to be believed, finally learns that love is no joke.

  • Untangling Critical Race Theory

    $22.00

What is critical race theory, and how should Christians engage it? Ed Uszynski is a white conservative Christian who has navigated critical race theory in the university world. In this guide, he carefully explores CRT’s roots and tenets, revealing how some portrayals misrepresent CRT and providing responsible answers to legitimate concerns.

    What is critical race theory?

It may be one of the most widely referenced issues of the day, but it’s also one of the least understood. In its translation from the academic world to the general public, critical race theory has inaccurately become a catch-all term for anything related to race. But what does it actually mean, and how should Christians engage it?

Ed Uszynski is uniquely positioned to address the dynamics of critical race theory. He earned his PhD in American culture studies in the university world and navigated the realities of Marxist critical theory and critical race theory-while still a white male conservative Christian ministering in traditional contexts. In this enlightening guidebook, he unpacks what critical race theory really is and how Christians can make sense of it. Uszynski carefully explores CRT’s roots and tenets, revealing what it aims to do and also how some portrayals of CRT misrepresent its purposes. With responsible answers to legitimate concerns, Uszynski goes beyond the surface to provide a reliable path of just discernment and cultural engagement.
