  • Chosen : Appointed For Favor, Destined For Greatness

    $18.99

MANY ARE CALLED, BUT YOU ARE CHOSEN.

This book will equip you with prophetic insight and divine strategies that will jump-start you on the path toward destiny.
There is a distinction between the called and the chosen, the many and the few. Who are these people? How did they get exclusive access to the favor of God? They are confident and prosperous, generous and joyful. They live in the realm of miracles and the supernatural, as if the very breath of God is on every decision they make in life. One season after the next they are catapulted to new levels in life. All they do is win and trample over challenges, disappointments, and attacks from the enemy, while others still remain at the starting line, awaiting breakthrough.

In her book Michelle McClain-Walters shows readers just what this distinction is and how they can live in the fullness of their identity as God’s chosen ones. Built on the words of Christ in John 15:16–“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit–fruit that will last–and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you”–and Matthew 22:14–“Many are called but few are chosen”–Chosen is a revelation of the spiritual force behind the life of the next-level believer.

Choose now and declare, “I am chosen!” and watch as the mysteries of heaven are opened to you.

  • Soul Reset : Breakdown, Breakthrough, And The Journey To Wholeness

    $14.99

Everything was going fine . . . until it wasn’t. For Reverend Junius B. Dotson it took an actual breakdown during a funeral for him to realize he needed a reset. As he recalls his own journey through grief, depression, burnout, and emotional breakdown, Dotson is passionate about calling for a Soul Reset for pastors, church leaders, and all disciples of Jesus Christ.

This is a 7-week churchwide study for everyone who moves at breakneck speed through their daily lives, often relying only on their own strength to bring God’s kingdom on earth. Jesus shows us a different way, an easier, unforced rhythm of what kingdom work looks like. It’s a balance of work, rest, play, worship, exercise, and eating well-spiritual practices that keep our souls hydrated and healthy as we do the work of the church in the world. Soul Reset: Breakdown, Breakthrough, and the Journey to Wholeness includes a book; a DVD; downloadable video segments; age-level discussion guides for children, youth, and adults; sermon starters; and more.

Soul Reset is a call for the church and all of Jesus’ disciples to reset and reorder their lives around spiritual practices, to learn to walk through our difficult seasons with our souls connected to the source of Living Water so that we don’t burn out or break down. And if we do burn out or break down, we learn to lift one another up and point one another back to Jesus.

Inspirational communicator Nancy Hicks describes four “camps” of Christians who wallow in the bad news (our fallen-ness), while disgruntled Christians and non-Christians alike are watching and thinking: If that’s what it means to be a Christian, no thanks! Meant to Live offers a vision on humanity’s calling and a way to live a genuine life gloriously into the Good News! • Gente Que Sume – (Spanish)

    $15.99

  • Broken Lenses : Identifying Your Truth In A World Of Lies

    $17.99

Broken Lenses reveals the truth of who God made people to be and the freedom that results from living out that truth.

A rape survivor, Emily Bernath’s life quickly turned away from having everything to feeling hopelessness and worthlessness. It was during that time of being open about her experience that it became apparent to her just how many other people experience those same feelings and so easily allow things that aren’t true about them define who they are. Broken Lenses stems from a passion to take outreach to the next level. Inside, Emily identifies some of the most popular lies people believe about themselves and pulls out the 12 biggest Biblical truths Christians should embrace in their own lives, such as “I am lovable” and “I am not a failure.”

With her scientific background and tell-it-how-it-is approach, Emily analyzes and connects each truth to God’s word through a few key lessons for each truth. She calls out the ways in which the enemy prevents people from believing these truths about themselves and what it looks like to truly embrace each of these truths. Ultimately, Broken Lenses helps readers achieve a more intimate relationship with God and the freedom that He desires each of his children to live in.

Have you ever felt you tried every solution on earth to solve a problem, but nothing worked? Have you ever wondered where the difficulties you face are coming from? Joyce Meyer has answers.

In Your Battles Belong to the Lord, Meyer explains that once you recognize the devil–who is real and active in the world today–as your true enemy and the source of many of your struggles, you can overcome them and live a life of peace, freedom, faith and victory. When facing life’s battles, there are certain things you must do for yourself, such as being diligent to study and apply God’s Word, trusting Him, praying, helping others, and maintaining a positive attitude and a thankful heart. But there are other things only God can do. When you do your part, God does His-and He is always ready and eager to defend you and help you.

In this fresh approach to the subject of spiritual warfare, Meyer focuses not only on the nature and strategies of the enemy, but also on the power and love of God, who always defeats the enemy and leads you to triumph. No matter how difficult your challenges are, if you have God with you, you have all you need to win every battle.

  • You Are The Girl For The Job

    $19.99

You believe (or want to believe) God has called you and given you purpose, but where do you start? How do you get from feeling stuck to making a move? If this sounds familiar, bestselling author Jess Connolly has a message for you: You Are the Girl for the Job.

But this is not simply a peppy catchphrase. This is the straight-up truth God has proclaimed over your life from the beginning, and it’s not dependent on what you can do or achieve but based on His power, capacity, and character.

It has taken one million, maybe one zillion (who knows?!), slight moves of His hand to place you in this exact moment. So forget about fear and second-guessing your gifts, because God has meticulously prepared you to be an ambassador for the Kingdom right where you are, here and now. Life is too short to get stuck in a holding pattern of shame, self-doubt, and comparison. So let this book be your very good news: you don’t have to wait for permission when you’ve already been commissioned.

With passion and heart-pumping hope, Jess shows that being the girl for the job doesn’t depend on your capacity. Rather, it has everything to do with God’s capacity and our willingness. It has everything to do with believing we are who God says we are, and quieting any inferior word spoken against us. Are you ready?

Let this book be your jumpstart into confident, purposed living, as Jess walks you through the six steps she has used to coach and encourage women for years: set your focus, take stock of the story that has shaped you, face your fear, catch the vision, make a plan, and finally, make your move–all in the bold belief that God has called you to every step of the journey.

  • Raising Disciples: : How To Make Faith Matter For Our Kids

    $29.99

Children and youth will just “catch” the faith of their parents, right?

Not necessarily. Talking with kids about Jesus no longer comes naturally to many Christian parents. In Raising Disciples, pastor Natalie Frisk helps us reconnect faith and parenting, equipping parents to model what following Jesus looks like in daily life. Filled with authenticity, flexibility, humor, and prayer, Frisk outlines how parents can make openings for their children to experience God in their daily lives.

As curriculum pastor at The Meeting House, one of the largest churches in Canada, Frisk calls parents who follow Christ to ask the big questions about the spiritual formation of children and teens. In practical and thoughtful ways, she equips parents to disciple their kids in various stages of childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. Raising Disciples will awaken parents to the possibly of Jesus-centered parenting and encourage us to engage in the lost art of discipling our own kids.

  • Slaying Dragons : What Exorcists See And What We Should Know

    $16.00

    *Now with Nihil Obstat*

This book takes the great wisdom of some of the leading exorcists in the Church, including Fr. Chad Ripperger, Fr. Gabriele Amorth, Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea, Fr. Gary Thomas, among others, and packages it into an approachable and intriguing book that conveys, to today’s Catholics, critical insights into the activity of the diabolical and spiritual warfare tactics with which we must be familiar. These exorcists pull their teachings from the sacred traditions of our Faith, the teachings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, the wisdom of exorcists under whom they were trained, and their own extensive experience in the realm of spiritual warfare, deliverance, and exorcisms.

The purpose of this book is to help enlighten Catholics to the spiritual war in which we all find ourselves. Not only is this battle real, but the Church knows it well, and has provided both wisdom and weapons, teachings and sacramentals, to enable Catholics to fight in this battle into which they have all been drafted, and be victorious.

“The devil prowls like a roaring lion, seeking to devour,” as St. Peter says. These exorcists face this devil, and the many demons who fell with him, as a central part of their spiritual ministry. Let them teach you what they know and impart to you those things that will aid you most in your spiritual life. Allow yourself to be instructed by spiritual masters that you may learn the manner in which the devil attacks you, the weapons you have at your disposal, and the means to find healing for the wounds you have suffered in your life. Know your enemy. Know his tactics. Know his motives. Know his nature. Know his origin. Know his goal. Know his language. Know his network. Know his strengths. Know his weaknesses. Once this knowledge is obtained, you can more effectively predict your enemy’s behavior, recognize his traps, use the proper preventative measures against him, and drive him away when he persists.

It’s a relationship we can trust, where we can find refuge and solid ground upon which to stand. The Way of Love set forth by the Episcopal Church’s Presiding Bishop Michael Bruce Curry is the journey of a lifetime. It’s a way of knowing God, receiving and sharing Jesus’ love, and being a blessing to the world. Mariann Edgar Budde shares her thoughts on how the reader can come to know–to receive–Jesus more deeply in practicing the Way of Love. Through the seven practices that have been put before us: to turn, to learn, to pray and to worship, to bless, to go, and to rest, she will share biblical stories, wisdom from the Christian tradition, and her own personal stories of spiritual growth.

You are a creation of God with a unique purpose. Many people “do” things to try to gain acceptance by others, so that they can “be” someone. They become slaves to public opinion and never really know who they were meant to be.

When we know that we are God’s beloved children, chosen from the foundation of the world, and discover who He designed us to be, we will think and act from that perspective. Everything else will develop from our identity and existence in Him. That identity goes beyond even our personal purpose to God’s eternal plans for the world and our exciting role in them.

God created all human beings to have dominion over the earth. And He has assigned each of us a portion of “territory” where we can exercise the measure of our dominion on earth. This dominion is based on the faith, anointing, and gifts He has given us. Our words and actions are most effective when we are in the territory God has assigned to us and are seeking first His kingdom. This “territorial” power is not merely symbolic. It is a reality in which we must live. The territory in which we are to be fruitful is not random or general but specific.

In Created for Purpose, you will discover God’s plan for your life as a loved and valuable member of His creation, what it means to be called by God, and how to know and live in your purpose throughout your life.

You are not an accident. You are present on this earth for a significant reason. Find out who you were meant to be!

  • Crutch Of Success

    $16.99

Born in Korea in 1956 soon after the end of the Korean War, Steve Stirling was stricken with polio at age one when his father unknowingly brought the virus home after consoling a friend whose child had contracted the disease. Steve survived; the son of his father’s friend did not. Marital and financial struggles caused Steve’s father to leave him at an orphanage when he was five. Three weeks later, his three-year-old sister was left there as well.

After four years, they were adopted by an American couple, Jim and Lynn Stirling, who settled in Anchorage, Alaska. The Stirlings now had seven children, all but one of whom was adopted.

Steve’s legs were paralyzed but his mind was sharp. He excelled in school, earned degrees at Cornell and Northwestern universities, and married. He and his wife, Sook Hee, moved from city to city as Steve moved up the corporate ladder with several Fortune 500 companies. They had two children and plenty of money, but their marriage was not happy.

Then they came to a saving faith in Jesus and their lives changed forever. They traveled to Korea and miraculously located Steve’s birth family. On a subsequent trip to visit the orphanage where he had grown up, Steve encountered a fellow handicapped orphan who had also become a Christian and his words caused Steve to rethink his life direction. He decided to shift his executive career away from the corporate world in order to devote his energies to nonprofit charities, working for World Vision and several others. Now he is the executive director for MAP (Medical Assistance Programs) International, based in Georgia, and spends as much time as possible spreading the gospel message as well as distributing medical assistance to developing countries. “For me, joining the MAP family feels like ‘coming home,'” he says. “It’s a culmination of my personal and professional life experiences.”

A vial of polio vaccine costing sixty cents could have prevented Steve from contracting the disease.

Steve’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (nas). He sees God’s hand bringing all the elements of his life together perfectly for His purpose.

“I believe God has called me to be the voice of millions of children who desperately need life-changing medicines,” Steve says. “He has given me these experiences, even polio, to prepare me to be used by Him. I’m not bit

  • Miracles Answer Book

    $14.99

What’s the most spectacular miracle that’s ever occurred? How is a miracle different from a coincidence? What effect should miracles have in my life? If you wonder about divine phenomena-their veracity, importance, frequency, source-Christian apologist Lee Strobel has answers to satisfy your mind and your heart.

A former skeptic, Lee Strobel was convinced by the miracle of the resurrection that Jesus is the Son of God. This launched him on a two-year investigation of whether God is still performing miracles today. After witnessing multiple events in which God unmistakably intervened in people’s lives in dramatic and well-documented ways, he was a skeptic no more. Through his research he also explored the existence of fake miracles, how God may use dreams and prayer to perform miracles, and whether miracles matter anymore. These frequently asked questions uncovered some astonishingly profound answers.

Using the popular question-and-answer format, Lee will lead you on a voyage of discovery and discernment. You’ll emerge with a deeper faith and a more profound sense of the lengths that God will go to strengthen the faith of His people.

  • Truth Over Fear

    $20.00

Questions and fears about Islam have proliferated American life for decades, from the Iranian Revolution in 1979 to the September 11, 2001, attacks. Yet more recent history has seen a new development in the tangle of Christian-Muslim relations: the mainstreaming of Islamophobia as a path to political and societal power at the highest level. Politicians and religious leaders now routinely spread fear and confusion about Muslim beliefs and practice in order to bolster their own positions.

Many recognize what is wrong with this situation but are frustrated with what seem to be limited options for response. Truth over Fear provides resources to address the manipulation of religious misunderstanding and intolerance. From renowned Christian scholar of Islam and longtime participant in Christian-Muslim engagement, Charles Kimball demystifies Islam, the world’s second-largest religion, and provides practical guidance on how to share simple facts about Muslim beliefs and practices with family and others, how to take the first steps in dialogue with Muslim neighbors, and how to move beyond dialogue to shared ministry and community building.

  • Unseen : The Gift Of Being Hidden In A World That Loves To Be Noticed

    $18.99

Every heart longs to be seen and understood. Yet most of our lives is unwitnessed. We spend our days working, driving, parenting. We sometimes spend whole seasons feeling unnoticed and unappreciated. So how do we find contentment when we feel so hidden? In Unseen, Sara Hagerty suggests that this is exactly what God intended. He is the only One who truly knows us. He is the only One who understands the value of the unseen in our lives. When this truth seeps into our souls, we realize that only when we hide ourselves in God can we give ourselves to others in true freedom-and know the joy of a deeper relationship with the God who sees us.Our culture applauds what we can produce, what we can show, what we can upload to social media. Only when we give all of ourselves to God-unedited, abandoned, apparently wasteful in its lack of productivity-can we live out who God created us to be. As Hagerty writes, “Maybe my seemingly unproductive, looking-up-at-Him life produces awe among the angels.”Through an eloquent exploration of both personal and biblical story, Hagerty calls us to offer every unseen minute of our lives to God. God is in the secret places of our lives that no one else witnesses. But we’ve not been relegated to these places. We’ve been invited. We may be “wasting” ourselves in a hidden corner today: The cubicle on the fourth floor. The hospital bedside of an elderly parent. The laundry room. But these are the places God uses to meet us with a radical love. These are the places that produce the kind of unhinged love in us that gives everything at His feet, whether or not anyone else ever proclaims our name, whether or not anyone else ever sees.God’s invitation is not just for a season or a day. It is the question of our lives: “When no one else applauds you, when it makes no sense, when you see no results-will you waste your love on Me?”

  • I See You

    $17.99

We don’t care about what we don’t see.

Countless people are invisible to us. We overlook the poor and homeless, partly because we don’t share much space with them. More seriously, we often choose not to see the realities around us. We hold misconceptions about who is deserving or not, or make false assumptions about people’s poverty being their own fault. Terence Lester calls us to see the invisible people around us. His personal encounters and real-life stories challenge Christians to become more informed about poverty and homelessness, and to see the poor as Jesus does. When we see people through God’s eyes and hear their stories, we restore their dignity and help them flourish. And when we recognize our own inner spiritual poverty, we have greater empathy for others, no matter their circumstances. Let love open your eyes. Discover how seeing leads us to act with compassion and justice–as God intends.

  • Lovestruck : Discovering God’s Design For Romance, Marriage, And Sexual Int

    $19.99

Sharon Jaynes, bestselling author, Bible teacher, and cofounder of Girlfriends in God, teaches women how to enjoy God’s sacred gift of sexual intimacy without guilt or regret by exploring the beautiful picture given in the Song of Solomon.

Everywhere we turn in our sex-saturated culture we are bombarded by destructive and unrealistic depictions of romance and intimacy. The problem, according to Bible teacher Sharon Jaynes, is not that culture focuses on sex too much but that it values sex too little. Sexual intimacy, as God intended it, is so much more than a physical act. Yet, with the extent of the church’s message being “don’t do it” before marriage and “don’t talk about it” after, how are Christians to understand and practice the wondrous gift of intimacy between a husband and a wife when they so rarely hear biblical teaching about it?

In Lovestruck, Jaynes takes readers back to the Bible’s beautiful picture of romantic love, a picture that is explicit but not illicit, sensual but not sordid, daring but not dirty. With the words of Solomon and the Shulamite woman in the Song of Solomon as a backdrop, Jaynes explores topics such as the giving and receiving of pleasure, restoring romance in the mundane, making intimacy a priority, avoiding the dangers of growing indifference, creating time to pull away from life’s busyness, and committing to a forever kind of love. When we see the sacred blessings of sexual intimacy in marriage and understand God’s original intent, we find the freedom to enjoy and explore one of the Father’s most magnificent gifts.

In The Opposite Life, pastor and author Alex Seeley explains the secret to living a powerful and abundant life through the upside-down kingdom of God. Each chapter unpacks the opposite-life principles that begin with our way of thinking and yield miraculous results. They include:

  • I Was Hungry

    $20.00

Hunger is one of the most significant issues in America. One in eight Americans struggles with hunger, and more than 13 million children live in food insecure homes. As Christians we are called to address the suffering of the hungry and poor: “For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat . . .” (Matthew 25:35). However, the problems of hunger and poverty are too large and too complex for any one of us to resolve individually.

I Was Hungry offers not only an assessment of the current crisis but also a strategy for addressing it. Jeremy Everett, a noted advocate for the hungry and poor, calls Christians to work intentionally across ideological divides to build trust with one another and impoverished communities and effectively end America’s hunger crisis. Everett, appointed by US Congress to the National Commission on Hunger, founded and directs the Texas Hunger Initiative, a successful ministry that is helping to eradicate hunger in Texas and around the globe. Everett details the organization’s history and tells stories of its work with communities from West Texas to Washington, DC, helping Christians of all political persuasions understand how they can work together to truly make a difference.

After many years of study and research the author came to the realization that what most Christians believe contradicts the very WORD of GOD. This is a major cause for all the angst in the world today, as well as in America. Seminaries and preachers contradict the very WORD of GOD every Sunday. He recently shared a copy of this with a seminary degreed missionary/preacher that spent about 35 years on the mission field in South America. Three weeks later he got a phone call from the man. He confessed that he had been taught a lie in seminary and also confessed that his eyes had been opened to truth. The man said that he would like to call the author “father” but that he would take the admonishment of Jesus “to call no man on earth father” seriously. He said that he would be considered least in the kingdom of God for all of time due to what he had taught and preached for many decades. Are you ready to be set free from the chains that bind?

  • Restored At The Root

    $16.99

Don’t treat the consequence. Treat the cause. This book will help you gain a greater understanding of the issues that are consuming your life and will guide you toward living a life of social, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Through Jesus Christ we have the ability to be completely free of the emotional, social, and spiritual struggles that have us bound. But to experience lasting change we must stop dealing only with the symptoms and get to the root issue.

In Restored at the Root, Dr. Joseph W. Walker III shows readers how to break free of demonic attack for good by teaching them how to do the following:
Identify the demonic activity beneath their emotional, social, and spiritual turmoil
Understand the authority they have to cast out demons
Find the courage to confront the issue instead of trying to camouflage it

Charismatics tend to deal with life issues only from a spiritual perspective. This book goes a step further by discussing the intersection between spiritual authority and clinical spiritual counseling. That way, readers can identify underlying issues at work, which can help save their lives, marriages, and ministries.

  • Different Shade Of Green

    $15.95

We have been shockingly bad at using our Bibles and our brains when it comes to conservation and the environment. Unhinged environmentalism is not the answer, but neither are ignorance and apathy. It’s time for something different.

Christian responsibility for the natural world goes back to the very beginning, when God commanded us to “fill the earth and subdue it.” This Dominion Mandate is an authoritative alternative to both environmental activists and to those who think “conservation” is a word progressives made up.

So what does “dominion” mean for us, living in a world of constant reports about impending global meltdown; of oils spills, pollution, and strip-mining; of extinction threats both real and imagined? A Different Shade of Green contains a compelling Christian approach to biodiversity, life cycles, and the environment, offering solutions and correcting errors while teaching us how to give thanks for-and rule over-all of creation.

  • Invited : The Power Of Hospitality In An Age Of Loneliness

    $29.99

    Just come on over.

Many people today feel lonely, isolated, and disconnected from God and others. We crave authentic community, but we have no idea where to start. We’d be glad to cultivate friendships; but honestly, who’s got the time?

In Invited, writer Leslie Verner says real hospitality is not having a Pinterest-perfect table or well-appointed living room. True hospitality is not clean, comfortable, or controlled. It is an invitation to enter a sacred space together with friends and strangers. Through vivid accounts from her life and travels in Uganda, China, and Tajikistan, and stories of visiting congregations in the United States, Verner shares stories of life around the table and how hospitality is at the heart of Christian community. What if we in the West learned about hospitality from people around the globe? What if our homes became laboratories of belonging?

Invited will empower you to open your home, get to know your neighbors, and prioritize people over tasks. Holy hospitality requires more of Jesus and less of us. It leads not only to loving the stranger but to becoming the stranger. Welcome to a new kind of hospitality.

  • Outdoing Jesus : Seven Ways To Live Out The Promise Of Greater Than

    $23.99

Is it sacrilegious to claim that ordinary people can do greater works than Jesus?”Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these” (John 14:12). Taking these words of Jesus seriously, Outdoing Jesus shows how the seven actions of Jesus that the Gospel of John singles out as special “signs” challenge us to live into a greater future. When Jesus asserts that his followers “will do even greater things than these,” he is calling for us to extend his miracles for the benefit of all of humanity. Only a master teacher wants students to do greater than their master! Doug Pagitt uses the works and teachings of Jesus as lenses through which we see what the kingdom of God would look like if it were “at hand.” We see how developments in humanities, medicine, science, technology, philanthropy, structural design, and social justice are bringing about the agenda of God for the world; and how we can participate. Outdoing Jesus is not only insightful biblical theology but a robust call to dare great things in pursuit of human flourishing.

  • Nice : Why We Love To Be Liked And How God Calls Us To More

    $18.99

Too often we think being a Christian means being nice–putting on an attractive exterior while inside our spirits flounder. We confuse pleasantness with goodness, sweetness with kindness, and likability with true character. We settle for this false virtue in ourselves and in others, more concerned with being liked than being obedient. As a result, we forfeit the fruits of real discipleship in our own lives. Even our witness in the world is damaged as we avoid sharing hard truths with others in favor of only putting forth positive messages that will keep others happy with us.In this life-changing book, Sharon Hodde Miller calls us to uproot the idols of acceptance, reputation, security, effectiveness, and idealism that keep us chasing after accolades from the world and cause us to bear the ugly fruits of falseness, self-righteousness, cowardice, corruption, and cynicism. Then she helps us prepare the soil of our hearts to bear good fruit so that we can be true followers of Jesus and witnesses to his power, love, and forgiveness to a hurting world.

  • Lies We Believe Workbook (Workbook)

    $19.99

In this 25-lesson revised and updated workbook based on the classic bestseller, Dr. Chris Thurman reveals the lies we tell ourselves, how they damage us, and what we can do about them. Most of us were told growing up that it was wrong to lie to others. But how many of us were raised to believe that one of the biggest mistakes we can make in life is to lie to ourselves? The reality is that we lie to ourselves every day. We tell ourselves things that are inaccurate, distorted, untrue, irrational, mistaken, and, most importantly, unbiblical. These lies fall into different categories:Lies about ourselves: “I must be perfect,” “My worth is determined by how I perform,” “I must have everyone’s approval,” “It’s easier to avoid my problems than face them…”Lies about relationships: “People can meet my emotional needs,” “I should be accepted just as I am,” “Others are more messed up than me,” “People have to earn my forgiveness…”Lies about life: “I can have it all,” “I shouldn’t wait for what I want,” “Being happy is the most important thing in life,” “Life should be easy and fair…”Lies about God: “I have to earn God’s love,” “God is mean and vindictive,” “God ignores my disobedience,” “God changes people,” “God has lost control of everything…”Lies men believe: “I don’t have what it takes to be a man,” “It’s not okay to feel sad or scared,” “My good intentions should satisfy everyone,” “I can do it by myself…”Lies women believe: “My job in life is to make everyone happy,” “It’s not okay to speak my mind,” “I’m not worthy of being loved as I am,” “Outer beauty is more important than inner beauty…”Lies about reality: “I need to make a mountain out of a molehill,” “I should take everything personally,” “Life is black and white,” “My feelings determine the truth…”Truth matters-not just between us and others, but also inside of us. When we lie to ourselves, we poison our souls and lead an existence we wouldn’t wish on our worst enemy. But when we tell ourselves the truth, we nourish our souls and fully experience the abundant life that Jesus wants us to have. The psalmist wrote, “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long” (Psalm 25:5). We live in a fallen world where “truth has stumbled in the streets” (Isaiah 59:14) and the majority of humankind is suffering because “their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened” (Romans 2:21). We desperately need to turn back to the Lord to guid

  • Great Revealing For All Peoples And All Nations

    $37.95

  • Friendish : Reclaiming Real Friendship In A Culture Of Confusion

    $17.99

Bible teacher Kelly Needham debunks our world’s constricted, small view of friendship and casts a richer, more life-giving, biblical vision for friendship as God meant it to be.

As the family unit grows more unstable and the average age of marriage increases, a shift is taking place in our culture: for many people, friends now play the role of family. And just as with family relationships, our friendships often don’t turn out quite as we envisioned or hoped, and we wonder, Is there a better way to do this?

In Friend-ish, Kelly Needham takes a close look at what Scripture says about friendship. She reveals the distorted view most of us have of it and recasts a glorious vision for a Christian understanding. By teaching us how to recognize symptoms of idolatry and dependency, she equips us to understand and address the problems that arise in friendship–from neediness to discord and even sexual temptation. With hard-fought wisdom, a clear view of Scripture, and been-there perspective, Needham reorients us toward the purposeful, loving relationships we all crave that ultimately bring us closer to God.

Award-winning author Mary Kassian provides readers a biblical guide to becoming the strong, resilient, capable women God created them to be.

Our culture teaches us that it’s important for women to be strong. The Bible agrees. Unfortunately, culture’s idea of what makes a woman strong doesn’t always align with the Bible’s. As a result, Christians often have a skewed view of what constitutes strength. In The Right Kind of Strong, Mary Kassian delves into Paul’s exhortation in 2 Timothy about the women of the church in Ephesus and uncovers warnings and truths about seven habits that can sap women’s strength. She reveals how, by guarding against these seven pitfalls, Christian women can walk in freedom and grow to be strong God’s way.

  • Gangster Prayer : Relentlessly Pursuing God With Passion And Great Expectat

    $19.99

If you want positive results from prayer, you first need to pray! But so many people who say they believe in the power of prayer actually pray very little . . . or not at all. It’s time to get serious about prayer. Autumn Miles says that we must stop being prayer wimps and instead be transformed into “prayer gangsters”-people who are dangerously passionate about their faith and loyalty to God.Autumn Miles had reached a point in her life where she was sick of hearing about answered prayers in other people’s lives but not seeing any in her own. Having grown up in the church as a pastor’s kid, she knew how to pray using certain words in just the right style that impressed those around her, but her prayers did nothing to draw her closer to God and what He wanted to do in and through her life. Prayer was a dead language in her life, yet she was desperate to see answers to her prayers. Frustrated with God, she had an epiphany that her prayer life had a foundation of doubt and not faith, which changed the focus and purpose of her prayers.Autumn believes that God wants to give us so much more than what we’ve been settling for. It’s time our prayer life, which has been mediocre at best, becomes something that is more fervent, more intentional, and highly expectant of seeing God answer prayers and work in our lives every single day. GANGSTER PRAYER won’t teach you how to pray, because that has distracted the church long enough. Instead, it will help reveal the heart behind a believing prayer and put the focus back on who we are praying to instead of on what we are praying for. With a changed perspective and objective, we can finally see the results from prayer we’ve been longing for-not just answers but a changed life.
