Growing up in a rural area, by a beautiful lake provided for a wonderful childhood full of memories which Carolyn was able to draw on for her inspiration. She writes about life’s journey from her experiences, her love of nature is recalled from childhood adventures, and she is able to show sensitivity to the human spirit and her love of God throughout her poetry.
